@@areallylonghandle I started with a T flight HOTAS and a 24’’ monitor, also flew with the x56 for a while. Still enjoyed DCS! Wish you a speedy recovery and thanks for watching!
@@Martin.H98 Ja relativt få som gidder refuele på MP servere, haha. Folk er som regel winchester uansett og må lande ^^. Flydd på Hetlebakken serverne? Norsk DCS samfunn=)
I really hope you did spend some of that hobby money on making a real pilot license. If not, you need to start that as soon as possible. Thank me later 😉
Dang bro Nice im starting to get into dcs and this game is sick im gonna probably download some aircraft mods like the a4 skyhawk and other for singleplayer missions then ill buy my first ever aircraft the f18 and go onto multi player :D
@@ReflectedSimulations I agree! Had a «extended rollout» into the Groove which made me a bit long. Thanks for the feedback and love your videos! I will hopefully get the time to start your Speed and Angels campaign soon!
@@Garuda1_AC6 No, the sidestick is force sensing though. Would love to upgrade the centerstick to force feedback, but I don’t think my table mounts are sturdy enough.:/
How do you set up OBS? (to capture desktop, game or specific window or using openxr mirror) Is it possible to capture a video with openkneeboard visible? BTW the quality of your videos is great!
@@Antoneusz001 I think so, if you use the OpenXR plugin in OBS. But that does not work with my Aero and eyetracking AFAIK. So unfortunately I can’t record both.
@@Antoneusz001 I set OBS to capture the game, which in my case will be the VR mirror. Thanks for the compliment, took a lot of time to fine tune the recording settings!
I guess, but it was worth it. I have a Reverb G2 and a similar simpit to yours and I’ve tried capturing and recording video but I’m not satisfied with the quality so far.
@@Willdass nice 👍🏻 do you have to "fly all the way" to get to the landing sequence on an aircraft carrier, or can you load it so that you start in the landing sequence itself?
@@Trulte60 In this mission I cold started, launched from the carrier and burned some fuel to get below max landing weight and then returned to land. By yeah, you could make a mission where you start on long final behind the carrier if you want.
@@Zamoski You have to edit the view.lua file in the mods folder to allow more movement and rotation of the cockpit camera. It breaks IC but is easy to undo after recording.
Bro can you point me to a fourm or somewhere with the plans and winwing gear you used for that build out.! Really want to get into dcs. And would rather start with a decent "cockpit set up" as my uncle and father were phantom and tomcat pilots.
@@basvh666 mfds and icp are 1-1 and in the correct position so that no problem. The switches on the left was a bit more challenging but muscle memory quickly adapted. It’s basically just the same as not looking at your keyboard when typing or playing other games. I have some different types of switch covers etc to help me identify the correct switch
