Hi, just some quick tips and tricks I've learned while practicing AAR in the DCS F-16. How this is useful :)
PC:
RTX 4090, Ryzen 7 5800X3D, 64gb RAM 3600mhz, Varjo Aero
Sim setup:
VPC Warbrd with TM F/A-18 stick on 10cm extension, Realsimulator FSSB-R3 Mk II ULTRA with F16SGRH grip, Winwing Super Taurus throttle, SimGears F-16 ICP, Winwing Combat and Take Off Panels, TM TPR Pendular Rudders, 3x TM Cougar MFD's, Simshaker Jetpad, Wacom Intuos S for OpenKneeboard.

Actually the 2 part power corrections should be 3 part: 1) toward the intended position (eg add power) 2) arresting that corrective motion (arrest the approach) 3) add/ decrease power to maintain the desired position Great video btw!

I simply use fuel flow. As I stabilize behind the tanker, I pay attention to what fuel flow is needed to maintain speed. it doesn't take much for the Viper to accelerate. an Increase of 2-300lbs per hour is all you need to slowly accerlate. usually about 1knot every 7-10 seconds. This way it's easy for me to return to tanking speed and stay in position. Keep in mind as you take on more fuel you will need more fuel flow. Works for me, may not work for others.

Thanks! Appreciate it! I have no curve on my force sensing F-16 stick, just a deadzone of 3 in both axis.

I've got 100 hours in the Viper, I still cannot refuel for the life of me.

100 hours is not a whole lot tbh so don’t get discouraged. It just takes time. Practice formation flying and get really comfortable with your HOTAS sensitivity settings. Good luck!

Hi. What is the fps you get in the VR with this setup ?

FPS is in the top left corner. Almost always 90 at this altitude. Below 3k ft I get 45-60

Bro is there any way you could link all your setup? What does this cost in total, around 3000-4000 euro? Planing to build a 7800X3D/4090 very soon and this would complete my setup. Looks insane, big thumbs up!
