At your job, is how you look important? Is there an expectation that you have your makeup, hair and nails done? Looks like you're nailing the working mum life! 👍
Yes it is! We're the first people our clients see when they come into the building so looking presentable is key. The law has changed since I first started, they cant make you wear make up or have your nails done (hair has to be tied up!) but as long as you're presentable and tidy :) Thank you!

Would it be okay if you could talk more about working as a corporate receptionist, do you think it is a good career ? I currently work as a medical recptionist and was hoping to see how far I could go with this type of career xxx
I think it depends what industry you're in. I've only ever been a corporate receptionist working for big companies. I'm in the investment industry at the mo, the natural progression for a receptionist here would be to move into a PA/Team Assistant role and then you could end up in all sorts of roles I think once you're in that role xx
ABSOLUTELY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR! I've experienced many of the same emotions within my 1st trimester!! Now I feel a little bit better knowing that I was not alone in how I was feeling.
