One of my favorites singing quartet is this Voice of Prophecy singers since I became a Seventh-day Adventist Christian believer in the year 1965 at my 15 years young in Cuyo, Palawan. I am now at 73 yeas old residing now in Natividad, Guagua, Pampanga in 2020 with my family. God bless and guide all of us until our Lord Jesus comes again to take us to heaven very soon.
Being 3rd 4th and 5th generational Seventh-day Adventists, Bible and SOP! We grew up with the King's Herald Quartet and HMS Richard's. We always enjoyed their beautifully blended heavenly voices and worshipful reverence back in those days.
Thank to God and the King's Heralds, these music carries me decades of years of listening I have memories of our old local quartet used as River Jordan doing similar songs from early seventies till close to 1990s. Great inspiration indeed.

I'm taking nothing from subsequent mutations of the King's Heralds as I say that THIS configuration - the first I ever heard - and the configuration that focussed my attention on the faith and ushered me into the Lord's fold with their distinctive and heaven-blest blend - will ever hold a sacrosanct place in my heart. I have never wavered in my well-founded belief that the very spirit of God moved upon Elder Hooper as he composed, arranged and performed the transcendental music of the church.
This quartet, in this configuration, was my first contact with the church 'way back in 1950. Elder Hooper, who either composed or arranged a cornucopia of impressive music in so many media, was so gentle and unassuming that he would never admit what we all knew... that the spirit of God was resting upon him as he worked, leaving his indelible impress on the refined music of the church.
I first heard this configuration in 1950 on radio in Los Angeles. I knew NOTHING about music! But my twelve-year-old ears were drawn to this music, tho' I didn't know why. In the early sixties I was privileged attend some of the church's efforts and to hear and observe the quartet in very close proximity. The refined and informed sound of this configuration, of Bob Edwards, Bob Seamount, Wayne Hooper and Jerry dill, is so distinctive as to be identifiable anywhere in God's universe. The very spirit of God - believe me! - was resting upon Wayne every moment of his compositional and arranging career. There will be a vast host in heaven who will owe their place in the kingdom of God to the wooing of the gospel message and salvation through the medium of these messengers of God.
I feel like an SDA when I here this beautiful music I guess I associate it with my childhood. I am 75 years old now. Its the same way whenever I here George Vanderman's voice. Enjoyable and draws to Jesus. 😊❤❤❤
Sabbath evening, 12 Apr'24 @ 21H16, listening to these beautiful hymns❤ most of them I grew up, singing, humming, whistling 😍63yrs and still going strong. Thank you my Father God🙏
