Guy I knew a couple years older, idolized Randy. Dude played guitar, was in a band, and saved his money to get a V he repainted with dots, when he got the news it crushed him.
I remember buying this album when it was first released. I bought it at Sam the Record Man (remember them)? The vinyl was $7.99 back then. Man, that was a long time ago.
Dedicated to Randy Rhoads. Died way too young on this day back in 1982. The guy that made me pick up a guitar when I was a kid. Much respect to Carlos Cavazzo for this song also! Awesome guitarist too!
I always like to think that if he hadn't left the group, he would have had a brilliant and successful career in Quiet Riot and then leave the group temporarily, because that's common for artists, but I think that later he comes back and joins the group group again in the future for new works and new successful compositions for our joy and pleasure in listening to them.🤘🇧🇷
I’ve been listening to this song Thunderbird ever since it came out in 83. Randy was supposed to play on it. Then Randy died. I was 13. I still get teary-eyed to this very day 2022 listening to it. God bless you Randy Rhoads. You were the greatest. RIP in God’s hands for all eternity Randy, Kevin And Frankie .
Quiet riot never made it big with Frankie Kevin and Randy but now they’re in they can play and do their thing up in heaven and I’m sure it’s amazing can’t wait to get there and hear it
Randy wrote alot about ozzys crazy train. Oh my God . Diary of a madman is all about ozzy and his crazy life with Randy and one stupid helicopter ride with the pilot on cocaine ended in a crash right infront of ozzy and his house. Unbelievable how he died so innocent and won of the greatest 😢 guitar player ever.
