while this "fear" scene is powerful at 4:06, it was greatly unwise from Flint Sky, the leader, to not to get intel from the other tribe about the the enemy ... for me this scene really shows that if you close your eyes and ears, it does not mean that the problem goes away, it just get you by surprise
Its the Christians an the Spanish that u gotta fear you know know spreading the GOOD NEWS AN THE GOSPEL 😂😂 when will people see thru it the poor indians
For all its flaws and questionable accuracy, I think this film is excellent. It has a very deep message of overcoming fear and facing the danger head on!
The fear of asking out so many beautiful women that were throwing themselves at me and I just ended up alone. I wish I would've known what I know now. But hey there's no better time like the present
This was the first movie. About Central American, Native people. That echoed their voices and viewpoints. Of their Culture, Heritage and History. It was raw" beautiful and exhilarating. From start to finish. From a peace existence, To fighting for your life. Against brutal invaders. Ultimately" escaping to freedom" To find your family. A story of humanity. Captured so beautifully. ❤❤❤
Thats is obviously stupid on the behest of Jaguar's father! He knows his son felt something and considering the fact that the other party informing him of the ravages done on their village and yet he seems not to take precaution! And look what happened......
Mel is a gifted film maker. This particular movie worked on several different levels but this never alienated the viewer from the core story of the family. The main protagonist's storyline was brilliantly written and directed but it must have been a nightmare to film all this on location. Real John Huston-style raw film-making. Love it!
