If you really follow God, HE knows it. And you will not go out and do very evil things. Jesus would NOT come here to die for us, if that were true. He'd have wasted His time.

Things that would have to happen if you could lose salvation: 1. Become unborn again (John 3:3-7). 2. Render eternal life temporary life (John 3:15). 3. Pass back to death from life (John 5:24). 4. Become unforgiven (Colossians 2:13). 5. Become unsealed (Ephesians 4:30). 6. Become unadopted (1 John 5:1). 7. Become unbought without a price (1 Corinthians 6:20). 8. Eternally thirst again (John 6:35). There is not a sin that a born-again believer can commit that will cause them to lose their salvation. A born-again believer can never lose their salvation. "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand" (John 10:28). I guess the word "Never" here could be mistaken for "possibly". "And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst" (John 6:35). Here is that confusing word "Never" again. "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out" (John 6:37). Not sure what "No wise" means, but I would bet it means "No way". We can be struggling with our faith and God still has us; "If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself" (2 Timothy 2:13). We are sealed by the Holy Spirit; "In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory" (Ephesians 1:13-14) AND "Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts" (2 Corinthians 1:22). These heretics are saying that the seal of the Holy Spirit can be broken. These modern-day Pharisees don't understand what the words "eternal", "everlasting" and "never" mean. Every time people read the words "cut off", "burned", or "fire", they automatically assume it means Hell and loss of salvation. They take hard to understand passages and go against clear passages of scripture. These people are calling Jesus a liar and teaching heresy. The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Faith alone, without works.

How foolish and ignorant are those Christians who think they will not be judged at the first resurrection. Christian you will be tested for your faithfulness during your probation, even at the final testing of the Great tribulation which John spoke of the 7 churches in the book of Revelation, they were tested according to their works. To imply that you will not be judged is a satanic lie that is rooted at the Fall of Mankind. Genesis 3:4-5 ESV [4] But the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. [5] For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." It is foolishness on the part of these who subscribe to OSOS as they are violating God’s Word by purposely weakening the clear understanding of Scripture, which carries damnation on those who are weeds within the Church Matthew 13, John 15, Romans 11. Those Christians who are found faithful in obedience to Christ’s teachings will be saved, there are Scriptural passages that are loaded with conditions of entry into the kingdom of God. The biggest problem for OSOS is that they have hijaked Paul’s letters and falsified his teachings that is supposed to up lift what Christ said in the Gospel. OSOS people have become illiterate to what Christ has made plain and clear about entering the Kingdom of God. Revelation 2:23 ESV [23] and I will strike her children dead. And all the churches will know that I am he who searches mind and heart, and I will give to each of you according to your works. Note the warning of those who will be thrown into the Lake of fire, Revelation 21:7-8 ESV [7] The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son. [8] But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death."

They live peaceful and sincere lives with Christ and fellow believers the way it was meant to be. Western Christians are constantly preaching fear & doubt, thus causing believers to live in a state of paranioa and doubt about their spritual standing & life .

Warnings Against Falling Away Hebrews 6:4-6 "For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since they are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt." Hebrews 10:26-27 "For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries." 2 Peter 2:20-22 "For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first. For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them." 1 Corinthians 9:27 "But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified." (Paul warns that even he could be disqualified if he doesn't maintain discipline.) 1 Corinthians 10:12 "Therefore let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall." Verses on Continuing in Faith John 15:5-6 "I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned." (Jesus teaches the need to remain in Him or face destruction.) Romans 11:22 "Note then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God’s kindness to you, provided you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you too will be cut off." (Paul teaches that remaining in God's kindness is conditional.) Colossians 1:21-23 "And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him, if indeed you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard." (Salvation is conditional on continuing in the faith.) Hebrews 3:12-14 "Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called 'today,' that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end." Obeying Jesus' Commands Matthew 7:21-23 "Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’" (Even those who believe they are saved can be rejected if they do not obey God's will.) John 8:31 "So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, 'If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples.'" Possibility of Shipwrecking Faith 1 Timothy 1:18-20 "This charge I entrust to you, Timothy, my child, in accordance with the prophecies previously made about you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, holding faith and a good conscience. By rejecting this, some have made shipwreck of their faith, among whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have handed over to Satan that they may learn not to blaspheme." 1 Timothy 4:1 "Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons." 2 Timothy 2:12 "If we endure, we will also reign with him; if we deny him, he also will deny us." (Endurance is necessary to reign with Christ; denial leads to rejection.) Galatians 5:4 "You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace." (Paul speaks of those who had fallen away from grace by trying to be justified through the law.) Falling Away from Grace Revelation 3:5 "The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will never blot his name out of the book of life. I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels." (The implication here is that names can be blotted out of the book of life.) Revelation 2:5 "Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent." (Jesus warns a church to repent or lose their place.) Matthew 24:13 "But the one who endures to the end will be saved." Personal Responsibility and Final Judgment Ezekiel 18:24 "But when a righteous person turns away from his righteousness and does injustice and does the same abominations that the wicked person does, shall he live? None of the righteous deeds that he has done shall be remembered; for the treachery of which he is guilty and the sin he has committed, for them he shall die." Philippians 2:12 "Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling." (Paul encourages believers to take their salvation seriously, implying it is not a guaranteed, automatic process.) These verses collectively show that salvation is conditional upon ongoing faith, obedience, and perseverance in Christ. They suggest that it is possible to fall away from grace or to be disqualified from salvation if one does not continue in faith or rejects Christ late

Salvation is a free gift without human merit. Salvation is founded on God's promise, and God took an oath that Salvation is secured for those He chose in Christ even before the creation of the world. Romans 8:28-30 makes it clear. The Golden Chain is that whom God knew even before the foundation of the world was chosen, called, and glorified. The point to note is that this is all in pastence. If we are not saved eternally, then there is no hope, and Christianity is just like any other religion.

Both those who believe in OSAS and those who dont encourage good works. No one says believers should sin because they are already saved. I believe OSAS is biblical, like how can't you see it? The difference between the two groups is that one believes Jesus finished the work and he just hsve to receive it by faith in him. The other also believes that the work of Jesus is not in a way enough, faith alone in that wont save you but you have to add works to it. How many works? These people are fall in sin willingly and untensionally just as every human. They believe they have to change and repent of all their sins before they are really saved or keep their salvation. In order words their salvation is dependent on them trying theirs best to shun sin. When the two stand before God what would they say? 1. God it's all by your grace that saves me, I accepted your gidt by faith. Even though I lived to produce a fruit to glorify your name on earth but that didn't contribute to your grace. For the good works i would gladly receive your crown of reward but for salvation your gift. OR 2. Lord i know you saved me but I worked very hard and trying all my best to stop sinning. Now bcos i didnt sin many but few sins in your grace please I gladly receive your salvation. If I had continue sinning, your grace could not have sustained me but I worked hard to sustain your/my salvation.

Zac Poonen, you're hurting the Lord by not trusting that He did all the works necessary for your salvation and thinking you need to earn your salvation by your works. OSAS as described in this documentary is a false teaching but if your are truly saved, it is once for all time and you can not lose your salvation. To truly be saved you need to be born again, washed in the blood of Christ, made a new creation, living in Christ and Christ living in you. You are the temple of the Holy Spirit and part of Christ's body and Jesus will never deny Himself and neither will the Father, He is faithful if we are faithful. When this happens your past, present and future sins (of the flesh) have been forgiven. BUT when you blaspheme the Holy Spirit you lose your soul and go straight to the second death when you die. Judas Iscariot, Ananias, Saphira, King Saul and probably King Solomon (unless he repented) are examples of this grave transgression against God. These transgressions are not against the law which are sins in the flesh, it is the sin in/of the Spirit and is not covered by the blood of Christ.
@Logic807
@Logic807 19 дней назад
You have never really listened to Zac Poonen by your words. You claim wrongly about Zac. But there is no need to read Zac or listen to him. Go for the source. Read for yourself what Jesus said or all the letters of Paul or John or Peter or Jesus in the book of revelation. Not proof text that you imagined. Whole letter or whole book.
@AgeOfNefarious_Deception
@AgeOfNefarious_Deception 18 дней назад
@@Logic807 I don't know much about Zac, I was just responding to something he said. So, I guess you too don't trust Jesus Christ and His death as the finished works that our faith should be grounded in. That's what faith is, to know Jesus is the only Savior and what He did is all we need for salvation. Do you not realize that you are actually denying Jesus when you think you need to add to His works with your own.

They are so confused about salvation they say no works then they say works then they say no works then they say works salvation is not complicated like they make it turn to God and he will take away the veil 2 Corinthians 3:13-18(KJV) 13 And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: 14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. 15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. 16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Everyone is commenting on here with either their opinions or using scripture out of context. God's Word is clear on the topic - OSAS is a lie... Hebrews 10 says this of one who has been "sanctified" by the “Son of God” but afterwards chooses to live in deliberate unrepentant sin. "For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. Anyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses. How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace?" This is absolutely false. The unrepentant are the ones who will not be saved. There is no such thing as an elect person who can "unsave" himself. Whosoever believes on him shall be saved, but who is to have true belief apart from the elect? If you aren't trusting in the finished work of Christ alone, then you are simply trusting in your own "filthy rags" righteousness, and you will go to hell. Come to Christ and enter your sabbath rest. Then bear fruit in keeping with repentance (just as all the saved people do). Works are the fruit, not the root.
@Cici_Dial
@Cici_Dial 22 дня назад
Two things being overlooked in this works based video: 1. Once regenerated, a Christian will do good works as a result of said regeneration. God provides the will and the do. If someone claims to be a Christian, but exhibits no changed life, then they were not regenerated. It is not "Once saved, always saved", but "If saved, always saved." 2. Works do not save you in the first place. If you cannot work to obtain salvation, then you cannot work to maintain it. Works done after salvation are the evidence of that salvation, and these works are done, not by the Christian, but by God. If one does not have good works, then it is because God is not providing the will and the to do. Conclusion: All this nonsense about losing your salvation, and/or it being up to you to maintain it is because people have been tucked into the lie of Arminianism, which originated from Roman Catholicism, another works based, man-made religion. It is God who saves. It is God who preserves. Jesus is the author AND finisher of your faith, NOT you!

Repenting from your old life most certainly is required for salvation at the beginning. Accordingly, repenting of repentance and returning to the old life is no longer meeting the basic requirement of salvation. The appeal to history is ironic, because Calvin himself admitted that his doctrine isn´t found in the early church before Augustine (5th century!).
@Cici_Dial
@Cici_Dial 17 часов назад
@D12Min "repenting of repentance"? What do you mean by that? Firstly, repentance is not a requirement to gain salvation. If that were the case, it would be a work. Rather, repentance is a gift, like faith. Both gifts, repentance and faith are given at the same time as regeneration. No one can repent until after they are saved. It is done immediately following regeneration and daily thereafter. If one's life is not marked by continual repentance, then the have not been saved. Now, tell me where Calvin said his doctrine did not exist before Augustine?

In the gospels and the epistles of the apostles as quoted in your documentary, there are some very few hypothetical passages that are used to spawn the fear of God in immature believers. And those passage seem to imply that believers can lose their salvation; but if you study them well you will understand that they are hypothetical. For instance they sound like the following: If you do certain things, then you will perish or your name will be blotted out,... So perishing will be possible if it's possible for them to do certain things. But we know that in the new covenant, God disciplines us to not get to a point of no return and we will not do the things that can qualify us to be condemned. That's why apostle Paul says somewhere that God judges us now to not judge us with the world later. Peter also says that God chastise those He loves. So to the Corinthians and Romans, and some immature churches, apostle Paul often talked hypothetically as they could lose their salvation in order to spawn the fear of God in them since they are newly born again and they haven't yet learned to walk by the spirit and they are tempted to be disobedient; to live according to their flesh. Illustratively, if you have children who are inclined to be stubborn, you should talk more to them about the consequences of disobedience. And often hypothetically tell them the fatal things that will happen to them if they do certain evil things. Even though you will never allow them to do those evil things to the best of your ability. But when you talk to obedient children, you tell them more about the reward of doing good things to motivate them to do more good things. You tell them more about the depth of your love for them; how secure they are; how they can never be chased out of the house (image of condemnation) And that's also how apostle Paul addressed the mature churches like the Ephesians and the Philippians. He talked to them about the eternal security of believers and predestination. For instance, he said that he who began a good work in them will finish it. That's eternal security there. But if you give this level of revelation to carnal believers, they might abuse of it and live anyhow and draw God's wrath against them. That's why the teacher has to be wise to know what to teach in function of the spiritual maturity of people. Whenever there seem to be confusion about a biblical truth. often go in the beginning to understand God's original agenda about it. And when we go in the beginning concerning salvation, we deduct in Ezekiel that eternal security of the believer is God's intent. Please don't follow your pastors more than God. Many of the pastors preaching that we can lose salvation are good, but they are not humble enough to repent from their bad doctrines. Some are sincere and God might even use them to warn immature believers. But the ideal and original standard of God is that we are eternally secured in Christ. Ezekiel 36:26-27 New King James Version 26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.
