Hey-o, My name is ThatOneSpyGuy, or Spy for short. I am a Challenge Runner and Minor Speedrunner for various games. I like many different games and styles of videos so except to see a lot of different videos on here for Speedruns, IL's, and Challenge Videos. Maybe even a few extra ones as well.
On the rare chance I stream, its at 9am EST to 1-2pm est, usually on Tuesdays and Thursdays. (Streams could be a little bit shorter or longer depending on how I feel.)
In wasteyard, you can skip the ghost section right after pillar john by bringing a chicken bandito all the way to the 1 block high corridor next to pillar john, and then do a glitch where you get hit by the bone candle from the chicken while you're crouching in the gap to stand up again while still being in the gap. After this, let the chicken come to you, grab it while still remaining in the gap and throw it at pillar john, skipping the ghost section. Though you already won on wasteyard so no point i guess :p
Man the worst part of this would be having to actually wait for your flip timer to recharge. Aside from the pit this game is so easy I just use my health bar as extra 3d time
I ain't sure how this got into my recommended as I only just got my SPM interest back- The fact you can just pick up and throw some of the bosses always amused me- Like just keep hold of them what can they do? They're grabbed.
I remember I was confused and a little annoyed that SPM was different than TTYD, but that very quickly changed and I remember adoring this game. I absolutely loved it. Sticker Star on the other hand, was a joke. I couldn’t even finish it. I hope Nintendo have learned the difference between “people complained because it was different” and “people complained because it sucked” at this point. Nintendo has used up a lot of their good graces in recent years.
There should be a secret rank for a run with exactly 1 point and an ending judgement screen exclusive to the lowest score possible. The Noise would honestly flip the bird on you each time and maybe even spam it on the judgement screen.
I wonder if anyone could ever beat the entire game no damage, with no resetting besides the first chapter. Meaning, you take damage, you start the ENTIRE game over! Haha
I beat it he first boss no damage without the squirt gun (If you get a line jump there is 2 spots where you can put your stickers to upgrade them and if you get lucky you can get a infinite jump in world 1 I’ll make a video on it soon)
So... are we just gonna ignore twink taking damage? We already established that a partner taking damage counts to the run. And twink is *kind of* a partner so....
1:50 there is a way to skip the turtorial fight to not get damage in the form of talking to a specific toad in the castle who will give you a drug mushroom causing you to black out and end up waking up at the goomba village
No matter how many reviews i watch, no matter how many times i hear people saying that this game hurts and not even fun to play, i still want to play it. What is wrong with me? Do i have a mental illness?
great video and concept! please don't use the ai voices next time though... your voice is better and personally i couldn't stand the ai voice. your friends explaining the battles is a much better method than using ai anyway!
Hey SpyGuy? Would Shy Ranger from Mario RPG just refuse to be your friend if you ever tried interacting with him? Also i bet postgame would be impossible for this challenge
21:24 Mind Charge is bugged in persona 3 actually. It only applies 1.9x damage multiplier. So you are generally better off just spamming the spells twice to do more damage unless you are trying to conserve MP for using some Ma-dyne spells.
I'd love it if you did Color Splash!!! It's one of my favorite games in the series and would like to see whether or not a challenge run of that game is possible!
