I created this channel to share my passion for PC gaming and gaming hardware in general. My main focus is benchmarking some of the latest games on my collection of GPU's and CPU's in a way that is easy to understand. I don't know it all but what I know I like to share as others have shared and continue to share with me. PC gaming is a growing market that can be a bit technical and even intimidating for some. I'd like to do what I can to help with understanding it better.
just wanted to find a place to share, after almost 3 years i'm finally getting my hands on a decent GPU, I'm about to buy the 6800XT for around 475 US$ (gpu prices are insane here, this is actually such a big deal) I really can't wait to play the games i always wanted
@@TerraWare yeah I can't wait, I used to be soo into AC games, but when unity release i couldn't play it even at low settings, to find such a dream gpu around that price was really some experience, for reference, some 3070 models are going for that price and also the 4060 ti brand new
@@TerraWare thats nice, for now I still on a 1080p monitor, I plan to change to 1440p but it will take a while, we have some national brands selling those monitors so its not as expensive as the cards, i think i can play some games with RT on even with this card at 1080p
I hear ya. I used to do that, mostly because my backlog was always full, still is but I try to get on these games for the channel mostly. No rush to play single player games imo.
Great scaling! I had a Lenovo legion Go but I couldn't find enough time to play with it since I'm still playing switch games on the go and I prefer to play games like this on the big screen. Glad you are enjoying the Steam Deck. Let's see if the Xbox handheld comes to light this weekend.
Yeah I heard Xbox could be bringing a handheld. I hope its not just another Windows handheld like what we have but something a bit more unique that Microsoft could be in a unique position to make. Maybe a mobile focused version of Windows, customized like the Steam OS.
hey there, game suffers from extreme VRam allocation problems!!! game wont erase textures and etc. when fast traveling resulting in crash after multiple fast travels and climbing up VRAM usage! goes from 9-10GB in 4k DLAA to 24GB after 10-12 fast travels!!! it seems like the game wont erase the allocated textures when you leave an area!
I've been impressed with the scalability of this game so I wanted to make a video presenting it with some of the hardware that's available to me. From the very high end of PC gaming to the Steam Deck and not to forget the PlayStation 4 either. Let me know your thoughts and experience below.
kind of late but i think its strange i dont think ive ever seen 80 fps in helldiverswith a XTX and 14900k, maybe 90's for a second but i cant remember tbh. I usually get around 110 and up. But i started playing this a lil over 2 months ago so maybe its fixed by then.
What would you say to someone who has, for all intent and purposes, proof that thier 7900xtx is running close to 20% faster than your 4090 numbers in this video. something has to be up right? I've seen some pretty piss poor 4090 performance videos in this game, so maybe a game issue.
I'm surprised you think having no power supply for an entire month is a positive experience. Did you have a backup power supply for that time? Could you imagine if you had to RMA your work PC's main component and it wasn't a super obvious simple fix and it took even longer? it would be crazy! At least you got your component fixed and they didn't give you a hassle or charge you anything!
Yes I have a couple spares. If you dont and had to wait for a work PC or whatever yea that would suck. To be fair I'm not entirely sure what the process would be like with other companies. I haven't dealt with such an issue before. Would a company like Seasonic for example just ship you a replacement right after you make a call and take you at your word? Or would they want to inspect the damaged product first and than send you a replacement?
i would just compare the 6800xt now to my 7800xt performance wise and i have so many issues with this games performance for reasons i dont know.. sometimes its smooth on 170 but other times its inconsistent at 100-120 with major stutters i really dont know whats going on there but its quite frustrating
Hmm, interesting. I didn't spend a ton of time with the 6800XT to be fair just about an hour or so. Is it something that happens at random or is there a pattern to it? Only thing I could think of maybe is that it could be a chance your CPU could be thermal throttling after a while of playing? Ot such high FPS the CPU would be running at good consistent load. Are the temps good?
@@TerraWare Yeah its pretty random atleast i havent figured a pattern yet lol... my Temps are all allright cpu and gpu wise maybe cpu a bit hot but i think still in the "green" its bascially a moodswing game for my pc xD because i really cant explain why once it performs well and other times horribly.... idk very weird
Something I forgot to mention that I wish I had was that I was having some trouble at times unlocking the FPS. Even disabling vsync would at times work and sometimes not which what I ended up doing was forcing it off through the Nvidia App/Control Panel, and should be able to do the same in Adrenalin under the graphics options.
Really? With a 5500 should be getting similar FPS to my 5900X. Are you maybe GPU bound? I would assume the RX 6800 should be able to max out especially at 1080P but it's the only thing I can really think of. Try setting all the graphics to low as an experiment and look at your FPS.
CPU's are usually quite important in these recent FPS games so this is an interesting test. Nice to see the game is optimized even on low end CPU's so no one should have a problem with it. Other recent Battle Royale type shooters are sadly a lot more intensive at times which feels bad for low end users. Luckily this is a normal old school COD type shooter and also runs like and old COD game lol.
@TerraWare haha should just put it as a text near the start of the video. Don't necessarily have to ask, seeing it on screen could be enough. I'm keen to see more content like this as well as what you have been doing :)
Good video. I have a 5800x3d and 4090 in my living room pc. In my spare/rec room, I put a pc with a ryzen 3600 and rtx 2070. I've been playing games a lot more on my spare room pc and it's been fine. Lower graphics settings don't change how fun the game is AT ALL.
Good video. zWORMz Gaming uploaded a video where he around 60fps at 1080p low with a i7 4770 and a gtx 680 2gb in this game! It's definitely an optimized game.
So true ! you should also try Lossless Scaling I'm upscale all games with that program and is working! I don't like 100% GPU usage and I have an old GPU...
computers, videogames, and the entire industry got worse when normies got access to computers. like with everything else. idiots clap for hype and trends. i miss the 90s when only the educated and wealthy had computers with internet.
I made a video on my channel (not his one) where i talked about just enjoying the game without caring too much about FPS, screen technology, resolution , etc and i totally agree, just focus on the game itself and enjoy the story or gameplay mechanics. Very nice video bro!!
I think many of us share this sentiment and to be fair I'm not against upgrading, obviously I like to do it and I love all the new tech that comes out and is upgraded in PC gaming.
I have a 34in 21:9 1440p display and it's hooked up to a TUF A15 with a 3060, and really my biggest complaint on a daily basis is not all plugs can be magnetic quick connects. Going into performance, the most demanding game I have still gets ~90fps at 1440p 21:9 high settings. Granted it's not a new AAA game but I rarely get games as soon as they come out. Is it a bit noisier than I'd like? Definitely not using this as a music server (I have a DAP for that), but gaming/movies with headphones on? No problem, this isn't music where I'd be pissed about having anything over the room noisefloor masking the low bass even with audio running. (Granted, I have it on a positive pressure laptop cooler) Do I still want a x800XT and an x800X3D SFX rig? Sure. Is it #1 priority? For now, no, I'm still playing Three Kingdoms. Maybe when Creative Assembly tosses out Empire II or something and this 3060 mobile can't run it at 1440p 21:9 (not to mention if they add ray tracing) then I'd consider an upgrade and retire this one into my backpack and as a console with the living room TV (this 3060's got a long life ahead of it for fighting games and my RPG backlog since the last time I had a dedicated console...which was the PS2 back in high school). Heck even when it can't run PS5 games fighting games and NBA/NFL/WWE games aren't gonna get that old for casual gaming.
Modding is why i love pc. I can have spiderman(probably) in skyrim and i can also have a dragon in spiderman game. (Probably, doesn't sound impossible)
