@@giespot Details listed in the RU-vid description. No antenna tracker. Just my head. It was heavy and my nose had a mark on it for a few hours after. LOL
Have you tried a 18650 or 21700 2s pack with this setup? i wonder if that would be too heavy for the incredibly long flight range you made here. But it would give you alot more capacity comparing to those flat cells you have. But it looks like you have that plane locked in with the perfect weight ratio so maybe my idea will just loose you range.
I looked into 21700's, but there's no way to keep it under 250g AUW. 18650's work of course, but the highest capacity available is 3500mAh with a continuous current of 10A. The problem with 18650 2S is if you take the cells right down to 2.5V each you're at 5V, which is technically below the minimum voltage rating for the FC. So for 2S at least, I've found that these high capacity, high volt lipo's are a better choice, because they aren't much heavier and you get more voltage over the whole discharge range. This means you can fly at a slightly higher average speed and when the pack is empty you're still at 6.6V.
could i do this only with tx16s with radiomaster micro 2.4 module & rp4 receiver, moonlight kit & goggles L? or do i need telemetry modules to ground controller?
@@personalunderstanding7055 Sounds like you're assuming I'm in the US, which I am not. In my country there is no altitude limit for sub 250g craft. FWIW though, I was rarely above 120m during this flight. I only blurred the altitude to avoid Karen comments.
@@ampedfpv You would not have need to blur if withing the limits. You can't call rarely above if for most of the flight altitude was blurred. To most that would indicate above 400ft for most of the flight or at least for the amount of time with blurred out altitude. Calling names (Karen) is a defensive move and a bit sad as comments and opinions from all should be welcome. Regardless you can't claim a record if you are outside the limitations of other pilots. Try again with altitude not blurred and under the 400ft.
@@personalunderstanding7055 Again, I didn't need to blur the altitude, because I was in adherence to the regulations in my country. The only reason I blurred it, is to avoid potential questions/comments from viewers that assume I'm in the US. And I just blurred it for the whole flight to make editing easier. The term "record" is used loosely of course, because there is no governing body of FPV records and there are no specific "rules" regarding altitude limits, etc. This is just a fun personal challenge. And maybe you didn't noticed that the thumbnail has a question mark "Record?", so I'm not making any "claim" as you say. If you don't think it's eligible for a record, because I didn't stay below 400ft, that's your opinion and your welcome to it.
No, sorry. It already been dismantled and the parts used in other builds. Please look at the Rotorbuilds link in the description. It has much more detail about the build.
@@OhMyAli-ll8bd LOL. Ok, believe what you want. Do the math on all the other components and it's easily under 250g. My Rotorbuilds link in the description shows the dry weight and battery weight.
I'm using RCINPOWER GTS V2 1202 Plus 11500kv , but I don't think performance with be very good with Li-ion. It will be too heavy. I'm running 450-550mAh 1S Lipo's that are around 14g. An 18650 cell with wire and connector is going to be about 50g....
I havebeen flying Nano Goblins since they were initially released. Getting ready to build my 3rd one with ardupilot, ELRS, and walksnail. Such a versital flyer!
Man, you dont know how much your video has helped me with my long range , was scared to go even 1km away and now im pushing more than 3kms out and going for more. Thank you so much.
The flight was amazing. Can you do a video covering your gear, settings? Radio, Receiver, FPV gear etc. Thanks for sharing these incredible videos. Inspires me to travel out further.
@@marinehm Thank you for the comment. Unfortunately I don't have time to make a video like that, but you can find some of those details in the RU-vid description. Cheers
Good day. Admirable. I would like to kindly ask you for the file for your frame. Inav 7.1 has already solved frame removal and non-standard handling of the drone such as max. throttle in navigation modes. I also had problems with withdrawals. Try inav 7.1 and see for yourself that it works. Thank you very much in advance.
