Hey, I already have an AA catted downpipe. Would you suggest AA single resonated mid pipe or AA EL mid pipe for the best sound? if I'm going to leave my exhaust stock. Thank you!
it's a personal preference. I prefer the resonated single midpipe when paired with high-flow downpipes. this results in an aggressive but still clean and rasp-free sound.
Beautiful exhaust but valve placement looks like 💩 about a foot after the muffler diverting pipe equals turbulence when closed. Might as well leave the valves open.
So the shot of the valves opening and closing looked like it’s opens all the way. Does this system come with a replacement motor to be able to do that?
@@extremepowerhouse8365 The problem i not changing the heatsheild, your product installed is showing a non vented / heat trapper @ 1:26 and the oem one actually has a heat opening which allows air flow to pass via the factory metal brace. Yes the factor component weight roughly 5.65lbs and a aftermarket carbon fiber one should weight less then a 1lbs. Your video like @alanoliver379 stated is the you are not dispensing heat but trapping the heat in the engine bay on the new "slam panel" by not allowing air flow to properly flow via the heat exchanger.
I really am on the fence about Bootmod3 because I live in Los Angeles and the smog checks here are super strict. Some people say to reflash to stock, smog, then reflash back to your stage 1. But then i hear that smog people can tell you tuned your car and fail you. Is that true?
Will this fit on 2021 G82 if I want to keep the original muffler ? the will sound change with bubble sound if I keep the original factory muffler ? thanks
@@jeremysifuentesrealestate8933 it will sound quieter than the non-res midpipe but will sound cleaner. we usually recommend the resonated midpipe for the cleanest sound
@@extremepowerhouse8365 is there any difference in sound from a AA single mid pipe to an AA equal length mid pipe both resonated. Or are they practically the same sound
You're absolutely right about the approach. However, to accomplish this, we would need to purchase all of the exhaust systems and dedicate significant time to install and test them on an M5. Unfortunately, this is a bit outside our budget constraints at the moment.
@@extremepowerhouse8365 this is the link for just the jb4 I wanted to know if you guys had power packages with charge pipe down pipe and stuff also thanks for the reply
I got the AA GESI catted downpipes from you guys, I want to get this mid for my G87 M2. Is installation the same? Or do I need to cut anything? I have the stock exhaust
The stock midpipe and exhaust are one piece, any time you are changing one of the two, you will need to cut the stock piece. The install is very easy and takes less than an hour; we provide you with clamps to connect the midpipe after you cut the stock one.
Armytrix for the win. It’s just plain mean. I have the Remus on the po’ man’s M5. It sounds great outside the car. Sounds like a tin can inside the car sometimes with moderately hard throttle in comfort mode. I considered Armytrix. Should have done it.
@@extremepowerhouse8365 oh okay i see. What would you say is the best map for 93 octane and what power gains? Not looking to use any other fuels. Just a nice conservative boost in power.
Awesome video, JB4 is such a cool mod. Had one for the Q50 for a year or so, unreal stuff. Thinking about getting one for my G82. Can you run 91o on map 2, or is it 93 minimum? Thanks!
