It will never be even in the alternate universe woukd Marin lose a random Team. Faker is and his own teammates are the only rival Marin had in his peak
Nice sports washing video. One thing to note even if your players are safe wearing "gay" jerseys how come your saudi fans arent wearing the same one? Did you perhaps bring different ones for your saudi fans?
so so so proud of this team, they’ve managed to do so many great things in such a short amount of time and I truly believe they can do even better! so excited for the rest of lcs and their journey at worlds! much love <3
honestly just looked like there were some gaps in comms, esp when super ahead if TL were able to reduce those moments i can see TL getting out of groups this worlds. keep at it boys been looking good since start of the year esp Yeon
I'm happy for appa that this year's team liquid primary language is english. Whole team, inclusive coaches speak english now this year, umti is a great example, import from korea , performs well and does a great effort in speaking english. Having tl members speak korean during last year was the issue, imagine how appa would have felt ...
I think a reddit comment put it really well: This is the first time in a very long time that I don't just hope that an NA team makes it out of groups, but I expect them to. Seeing the growth of Yeon and APA has been amazing, TL keep it going. Give me more of this sweet hopium
I'm glad you guys had a good showing, but I've got to be honest about something. The decision to wear pride jerseys after Pride Month had already ended, on the Fourth of July no less, was really bad optics. It was America's Independence Day and you were up against a British org. You guys were representing North America, and your star rookie carries are American-born. Why is it that on such a symbolic day that the one Middle Eastern TL fan in the audience (who isn't even American) was wearing a more patriotic jersey than the North American players, who were representing "pride" in a country that's outright antagonistic toward pride? It's just absolutely embarrassing. It's embarrassing for your region. It's embarrassing for your players. And it was a slap in the face to the lone Middle Eastern TL fan who was more patriotic on America's Independence Day than any of the North American players - instead of wearing jerseys to represent the homeland of your carries like the lone Middle Eastern fan, you wore jerseys to make a statement on the religion and law of that lone fan's nation and people.
Because having opinions isn't illegal. We can voice them, and they are foreigners in the country, they got permission to wear those jerseys, they literally mention it in the video. I don't think its disrespectful if they got permission from the event holders, and they also didn't do anything to push that narrative, other than let out a general statement. Since when did having an opinion on a belief become a crime? I think that's more depressing than the idea of this "rhetoric" being embarrassing for NA.
This Roster has officially dethroned the 2016 Lourlo/DD/Fenix/Piglet/Matt as favorite TL roster, I love this team ! They give me hope that we can win at worlds 👊
I was in Taiwan and stayed up until like 4:00am to watch the game. I was heartbroken to see TL throw the third game. However, I still think you guys did better than MSI, which you never had a sizable advantage even in game three. Go TL
