I am from Rome (Italy) and falled in love with surfing when I was 10. My first board was a shitty second hand patch up board. Upgraded to a second hand 6’3 (was still tiny skinny and mainly surfed shitty waves). Had few surf trips and surfed local spots as much as I could and improved to the point where my father realized how passionate I was and how my skills where limited by the board I had. Drooled for over a year on a Lost at my local surf shop and finally got it once finished school year with good grades (was the condition to get the board). Dreaming cutbacks roundhouse on it like I was watching Cory Lopez doing them on my few surf VHS and then DVDs My first ever brand new performance surfboard was a Lost 5’11. I cannot explain the happiness of driving just after last day of school with my dad directly to the surf shop the get that board and the feeling to hold it knowing it was finally mine. The thrill and adrenaline the week after when I had my first session with it. Indescribable feeling. I still have that board today which is 20 years later and will never ever sell or throw it away. Being a passionate surfer in Rome can be the most frustrating and rewarding thing ever at the same time.. traveling and having the chance to surf world class waves has even a better taste when you don’t get to surf those waves back home.. Anyway since always been in love with Lost surfboards.
You might as well put the meth ripper and the drunk ripper.. 2 of so cals prominent individuals. Then you could have put some dude doing big rails of meth and a guy fuckin' shotgunning some beers before he rips. My kid got to see how to do a bong hit you fools might of well shown him how to chop up some lines too or do some beer bongs why you're at it......
MR Cali twin LghtSpd is Flowy, fast, got springy drive, and goose loose. Less predictable than a thruster but better paddle, get in and go speed, and can grovel in 1ft. Cant wait to test it in bigger surf. I’m 6ft, 170lbs got mine at 30L 5’7”x20.25”x2.4” lghtspd. I think it will work better when its like 2-4ft.
@@peraltishI went for it yesterday and picked one up. Hopefully can get it in the water next week. I’ll let you know when I do. Under arm it feels and looks like it’s going to go well. I grabbed the MB split keels to go with it.

@@peraltish Hey I got one session on it so far in weak Florida thigh high surf. Also I am an intermediate so take that into consideration. First impressions are that this thing is a blast. Very fast once it’s up and going. A quick pump and it’s taking off. Also very nimble and turns on a dime. I ran FCS MB split keels and they felt great. In a wave with some push this thing feels like it would be a rocket. Very similar to a mini Simmons in speed. Also pretty forgiving with foot placement. I am 6’3, 220 and went 6’1 at 47 liters. I’m happy with it, but could have probably gone 5’11 or 6’0 and still worked well. I like a lot of foam so I normally air on that side. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed if you send it.

That board looks really good under Kolohe's feet. I've been looking at all the lost boards and can't decide which one to get.. Probably will get this? Is it good in bigger surf say 6ft as it is in small? Us poor ppl can only afford one lol.
@lost surfboard network For a 9-year-old grom looking at a custom 4'4'-4'5" to surf east coast summer swell, would you steer towards the Pisces or RNF 96'? Dad isn't going to buy both.
Was curious about this as well... parsing photos and descriptions, the main difference seems the bottom contours and tail outline. The stub has a single concave all the way through and out the tail with no double/V like the ripper. The stub's tail outline also looks slightly more pulled in with less of a "hip" bump between the feet. Aka, stub should sit on top of the water more and feel a bit more twitchy, but precise with a narrower tail. The ripper with double/V should roll rail to rail easier with good down the line release. All in all, I'd guess the stub slightly up on the performance scale towards the sub drivers and the ripper a bit more relaxed/step down-ish in it's approach.
