RIP Ben Aipa I feel like it was a honor to grow up being younger seeing you come around every so often at Hookipa beach park. You really deserve so much respect for what you did for surfing. I will forever have upmost respect for the Aipa name.
I've got a 6'8" Aipa Sting with a swallow tail. Paddles into waves real nice and then i can crank a turn and the swallow tail and wing just let the tail really sink into the wave. By far one of my favorite boards. Just a little big for duck diving. Puddle jumper looks fun!
I got the 5'7. What type fins do you recommend. Quads or tri? Tri with a smaller trail? I just bought it today and will try the tri FCS Julian Wilson medium
