I've lost over 40 lbs. since I started exercising. That's SUPPOSED to be a big accomplishment, but the scale being the only metric of progress isn't enough to make me feel good about it or see any significant change in my appearance.
You know why people hate exercise? It's because it's boring. That's the whole reason. If was fun, people would do it. People will basically do anything if it's fun. Take that small bit of information and run with it 😂.
Thanks for making this video. I’m going to CC this fall and I’m feeling really nervous about it, mostly because I wonder if it was the right choice. Its hard when everyone else is commuting to colleges and I’m just going to CC.
this was the most insightful and empathetic video i have seen that talks about community, and the only video that has made me consider it. I'm a senior in hs and i have been wrestling between going to community and a private school which is amazing and i am so grateful i have been accepted but i simply cannot justify its costs. thank you so much, you have given me and probably many some much needed clarity
I Loveeeeee this !!! An deff needed this to help plan, not trying to spend a bunch of money MYSELF ‼️Trying to save as much an furthermore I am not very materialistic an don't require things to cost much in my everyday life so I don't plan on going all out for my big day . Thank you helped me a lot .
The "stigma" of community college exists primarily in the minds of students and parents, NOT employers. Who do you think an employer is going to respect more? A pampered and entitled student full of themselves that graduated from a good four year university with a ton of debt or a student that graduated from the SAME four year university that ALSO has an associate degree from a community college and less debt? I'll take the grounded candidate that started in community college. FAR more important than any college's reputation is the major you choose. Got a daisy major in liberal arts from a fancy university or a STEM major from a less prestigious university? My first daughter got a daisy major from a UC but then had to go back to community college to be an RN. 15 years after high school she got a BSN and later became a nurse practitioner. Lesson learned. My second daughter is an engineering major starting out in community college.
Brilliant video. I hate exercise but I've got to start doing it as the dr told me to lose weight which I have but no inches are coming off. Plus I'm sooo unfit. My PE teachers were always nasty to me and made me hate sport. I've been revelling in the fact I don't have to do it anymore for the last 20 yrs lol but yeah, I am never gonna be a runner but I may be a walker.
ppl becareful how u show the white house u can live off 20 a week because they will watch this to and cut ur Stamos down even more and u barely get by now and the more ppl see wat these store have ppl who do got more money will gonther and buy most of the stuff out if the store and you love se we all do gota learn to eat heathy but can't afford alit of hesthy stuff
i want to take a gap year and then go to community college because i am TERRIFIED of student loan debt, but my school sort of has a stigma against CCs :( i know i shouldn’t care what others think but i don’t want my friends to think i just couldn’t get accepted to a 4 year. thank you for this video, hopefully this will give me the confidence to follow my own path <3
I'm so sh!t when it comes to this stuff. I just got rejected, and I feel quite stupid and worthless... Thank you for sharing this though. I'll to try rewatch it and reflect on it once i feel a little less crap.😆
Could you please tell me if I can lends from the bank if I don't have all the cost there or maybe pay with installment work and study? Because my college says doesn't accepting installment it want cash and pay all the coast only
This didn't contribute anything to make me want to love or exercise more. I don't want to exercise, I HAVE to exercise to be a better person. And it's not fair since I have to work harder at losing weight while it's easier for others, but I am a loser so no one cares. Instead of looking at it as something beneficial, I admit to myself that it is torture and I do the most intense exercise I can possibly do just to punish myself. I don't care if I break a leg, bleed, or die. I hate exercise and never will come to love it. But I do it to punish the pathetic being that I am.
@@hollyc.691 Therapy will not fix me either. The only one who can save me... is me. And if I have to endure pain to do it... then so be it. But please, dont try to convince others that exercise is meant for fun or enjoyment. Benefits? Fine. But it doesnt change the fact I still have to feel pain no matter what exercise I take.
Nice ideas, I eat on 10 dollars for 2 weeks. What I commonly do is frozen veggies and pasta. Tomato sauce over pasta sauce as you can get fresh mushrooms and garlic very cheap and make your own pasta sauce cheaply. Also finding ground beef on sale along with frozen kidney beans and chili mix is a meal for 3.82 cents. With a pot of chili you can freeze it in ziplock bags then pop out a bag and put it in a pot of boiling water to reheat ( microwave ovens take upwards of 240 watts per minute in power totaling 38 cents per minute). And if you buy rice you could mix boiled rice in your chili for another meal.
Hello Jessie I completely relate to the idea of no passion job . There is lot of academic areas where I really like the work but I don't like the profession . Tbh there is lot of development in programming sectors catering to selling a moderate quality product when we have so many opportunity for sufficient excellence
My scholarship has been verified at the state level but i didn't get the money two times I applied & get rejected but now I'll apply again,,,,hope that my scholarship would be accepted n i will get the money...
To prevent cilantro from going bad if its in soil water it and let it sit on the windowshill, if its cut pour bioling water on it for about 20-30 seconds let it dry off a bit and hang it up individually on a thread and let it dry in a draft free place or chop it and freeeze it for easy measure put it in an icecube tray.
As someone learning more about Community Colleges and American Education, I learned a ton just from watching this video. Thank you so much for putting it together.
My mom went to a cc for a year then dropped out bc she couldn't afford it. She wasn't broke enough to get gov help or financial and she didn't have enough money to pay for it herself. Then 20 years later after she saved up enough she went back to a different cc which I now attend and finished school and she went to nursing school bc it was the quickest easiest route for us to get money. My dad was a hs drop out who joined the army, got hurt and then had to just work to figure stuff out. I hope he gets to go to college 1 day
