I sell on Bring a Trailer it has always been a great experience for the buyer and myself. I have a few disagreements with the ad writers at times but we usually come to an agreement on how the ad should read.
I love how in all these muscle car performance videos, there's some poor slub on their lunch break from work getting a speeding ticket, while on the other side of the road, there's a supercharged lead up to a 60mph chirp. Lol.😅. (I pray I win this. Also, I hope I'm financially able to keep it and not have to sell it for the cash. I do have a pretty decent garage. I'd use a little bit of the cash to climate control this beautiful monster. )

Done both, dissatisfied with both. Various reasons but the main reason is your ability to research and examine car is very limited and that results in disappointment in quality and function.

So it is amazing how far you guys have come from when you did your first build . The chevy Camaro has been my dream car and has never changed but since watching you guys build the Camaros just has made me want it even more you guys are awesome and thank you guys for what you do.

You just guaranteed I will never deal with Mecum. That is one thing I don't tolerate is someone trying to bulldog me. See I know my money has value everywhere, but their car only has to a small market.
Especially on Mecum you repeat yourself constantly about the cool atmosphere. I think that was to compensate for the fee you pay on top of the price of the car. It is only anecdotal but a friend went to a Mecum auction held in Portland Oregon and purchased a 56 Corvette. The disclosure on the car was less than candid. There were all sorts of problems that necessitated considerable money being spent sorting them out and repairs. That you have to pay an annual fee just to bid is also BS but at least ,as a business can be written off on your taxes. I think the trailer bidding option or better yet finding a car you are interested in that is in a reasonable distance from where you live and then having the car gone over by a reputable mechanic and body shop to save you from buying a car that looks good but underneath has major problems. Some money spent up front can save you money and grief after the purchase of your dream car.
