Give it another 200 miles and the suspension will be settled. Had new coils and drop lower arms on my truck. The rear was lower the first 200 miles, after that you could slowing see it coming down in the front. The saying of "it wont be want you want at first" is very true.
Love the drivability. Not slow but not “fast” by today’s standards. The perfect cruiser. It’s basically my dream car. Drive it to work once or twice a week. Pick up my son from school. And hit up a cars and coffee once in a while!! Great job bro!! Hopefully someone who’s deserving and appropriate what a classic it is. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Oh and please leave that stance!!
Maaaaaan that Charger sounded good when you got down on the pedal !!! Those pipes sure would sound good on a country road in Bama!!! Don't care what anyone says, I'm putting in a pistol grip if I win!!!!😂
Awesome stuff, Chris. I would put a pistol grip on the shifter and Borla square tipped chrome resonators on the end of the exhaust. As an omage to the factory square tips but with the resto-mod look. I would do nothing else but drive the wheels off of it! You guys knocked this one out of the park! It’s a perfect, great handling cruiser. I love it. Here’s hoping I get to take it home with me…😏😎👍🏻🤙🏻
Fantastic video. Thanks, Chris. That big block soundtrack is so damn sweet. When I first saw the ad for the giveaway, I thought it was pretty cool, classic muscle, etc. Then, I saw the build sheet video, and that you'd put a modern manual transmission in. Had to stop myself from drooling all over my iPad. I'm with Chris on the big block/modern manual combo, all the way. Would be unbelievably fun to cruise in that beast up the Sea-to-Sky Highway in BC, drop in on one of my favourite breweries in Squamish (drive responsibly kids - just a snack and a flight at the brewery, itself) - then maybe the rest of the way to Whistler, just cuz motor music.
While I might have the 7th gen Charger, I'm a huge fan of the 68 and 69! What a blast to whoever wins this! Keep doing what you're doing! Love these ride along's! 👍
Everybody saying that they'd dive this thing every once and a while and be nice to it... I have to be the only one who's going to use it as they did the one in Bullitt.. Not mashing it up but I'm gonna drive the damn thing. I think I'd be looking for a really good breathing set of heads and a cam first and foremost..
I'm not a Mopar guy but , i got my tickets and can't wait to put the spurs to this bad boy! wait just a minute! was that wheel hop? can't have wheel hop! do a hard launch !
Hide the fitech screen it’s just out there like an after thought at the bottom of the dash. Other than that it’s perfect. X pipe on the exhaust? I vote aluminum heads just a little more snort
Awesome '68 Charger! Please check out my 1968 Barracuda fastback powered by a rowdy 512 stroker backed by an A833 4 speed manual. I think you'll approve. 👌
