Just as FYI, the masks were worn to protect against spalling. That occurs when a bullet/shell hits the armour, does not penetrate but the impact causes a scab of armoured steel to break off on the inside of the vehicle and go ricocheting around the inside of the vehicle. Your build is truly impressive.
@@hungryhamster4567 it was for a show commemorating the DDay anniversary. A lot of people don’t know the Germans used a lot of French equipment and these tanks were used for airfield defense and other non front line duties. Some were placed along the Atlantic wall as makeshift pillboxes.

When I finish the engine rebuild, I’ll be sure to do that but right now I’d say the biggest thing is being able to turn each track in opposite directions is a plus making tighter turns then brake steering.
Technically yes, just takes alot of my time to load it up and haul it. I’m almost done with the engine rebuild and I have a newborn now so that has also taken a good chunk of time.
