Hi! I do oscilloscope videos and soundfont covers involving a variety of tunes. I use the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky soundfont for most of them. I use Corrscope for the visuals, and Synthfont for the mixing. Jesus Loves you!
PMD2 Soundfont: www.reddit.com/r/MysteryDungeon/comments/obqrg0/full_soundfont_of_pokemon_mystery_dungeon/ Synthfont: www.synthfont.com/Downloads.html (in order to turn midi into individual and master wav files for use in corrscope) Corrscope: github.com/corrscope/corrscope
Question: Could you perhaps do Yacker's Plea, Wisp's Homeworld, or Hyper-go-on Surge from Sonic Colors DS in whatever soundfont you choose? The music files for those tracks actually resemble complete midi files with proper programs assigned, apart from at least one channel being dedicated to custom percussion.
@@boonkunak yeeee! If you're not already too busy 👀 Edit: btw, your remixes of City of Tears and White Palace? Absolutely beautiful!!!!! I LOVE that you add the in-game indoor-outdoor versions to CoT after the OST version would end, and I love the way you figured out an interesting and fitting way for White Palace to end when it usually fades out after the loop point.
This one took a while to work on at approximately 6 hours. All instruments used are from Pokémon Black White 2 except the Main Percussion, Explosion SFX and Guitar Harmonics. This midi arrangement is crazy good. Midi arrangement used (modified by me): www.doomworld.com/forum/topic/137354-doom-eternal-midi/
Pokémon White version 2 was tge first mainline Pokémon game i ever played. This is nice. I wonder... does "original percussion" mean that thats the same unchanged percussion from the og song?
It looks like you have a thorough understanding of the sound tech, have you ever thought of making custom tracks for PMD2 fangames made with SkyTemple?
I've messed around a bit with it, but I really don't have any desire to create a rom-hack of my own. Anyone is free to use my music in their rom-hacks though, as all my covers are Creative Commons.
Great question! I guess my best advice is to do what you can, without overwhelming yourself. I have a full time job and this channel is just one of my hobbies. I don't set deadlines for any of my content, and there are many unfinished projects I haven't completed. Ultimately though if you enjoy making anything, it won't feel like work. I enjoy making content on RU-vid, and to me it doesn't feel like work.
yeah never force yourself though otherwise you could burnout quickly, I'm an artist and I'm experiencing burnout that's why I asked. but burnout sucks lol
this song goes hard and i think a great part of why it does is due to this section. thanks for dissecting it, super interesting to listen to this independently!
