Mikazuki is not one to convey too much emotion, just enough for us to recognize, due to him having facial features. Barbatos isn’t the most subtle when it’s in a fight, it loves to fight, and yet we only know this because of its actions. Yet when we hear Barbatos suddenly move 0:49, there’s a clear indication that Mikazuki and Barbatos have decided to take revenge. Now at 1:03 Barbatos’s face looks neutral, but looking at it more closely the light reflecting its eyes indicate there’s some form of anger behind its movement. We don’t see that anger until much later at 1:10, right there you can see that Barbatos is *PISSED* that these arrogant pricks want a “fair” fight (when really they’re stalling for time), especially since Tekkadan (don’t know if I’m spelling it correctly) got invaded by these guys several episodes prior! Now here at 2:01 Barbatos is now in full “You’re next greenhorn” position. It doesn’t say it, but you know what’s going to happen to Carta Mental Issue here: She’s gonna get mauled by Barbatos and Mikazuki, without any shred of mercy, and 2:19 further confirms this. Finally we’re seeing Barbatos’s face at 3:03 aaaaaaaand yup it’s no longer a neutral face, but a face that conveys vengeful anger so potent it could light up the whole city of New York. At this point I want to bring up Carta Boo-Hoo-Problems Issue here; through out most of the whole series, including this scene, her body language conveys arrogance, faux confidence, and haughtiness that’d make you *WANT* to see her get her well deserved bitch-slap. Through out this slaughter she’s been progressively getting more and more afraid of both Mikazuki and Barbatos, right until here 4:33 where her eyes have widened in disbelief. Right here at 4:50 is where we see Barbatos’s rage and sadness in full display. The ice that has melted on its face indicates that it’s crying, where as it’s glowing eyes and “frown” indicates that it remembers what she did, and just remembering that moment is enough for it to commit the art of “Rip & Tear until it is done”. TLDR: Over-explaining about conveying emotions of a goddamn badass Gundam, and why attention to detail is important.
The kid doesnt hold back, EVER, and will never stop, until Orga says. The bro code between those two is so unique and strong, they kinda reminds me of Karna and Duryodhana from the Indian mythological epic Mahabharatha.
Both Mikazuki and his “friends” are terrorists. Not a fan of Gjallarhorn, but yeah, seeing his “gundam” being destroyed in final episode is really satisfying, good riddance.
What are you talking about, Carta? Of course it is fair! There's only one mobile suit of him and three of yours. Your only grave mistake was considering these guy who putting their lives at front, will follow your circus' rule like play thing.
Want a dignity, yet killing enemy in mobile worker, fair and square yet choose to outnumbered enemy, yet in verged of death.. she playing victim.. she already stained her dignity anyway with how she trying to achieved it
these dumbasses forget barbatos isn't any kind of normal gundam it's much more than what they thought yet this is why they lost to mika to a fight LETS GO BARBATOS FINISH THEM OFF SHOW THEM YOUR TRUE POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ladies and Gentlemen... This is Aina Sakhalin Destroyed by Mikazuki by 17 seconds. Shiro Amada: FOR THE CLEAN AND BEAUTIFUL WO- Me: Amada, will you stop breaking the fourth wall. You are not on Cosmic Era, you are from UC.
The way this show conveys its feelings through fights is amazing. The moment Barbatos came to massacre what's left of Carta's squad made me feel angry in a good way. You can feel the thirst for revenge and anger the way Mikazuki went wild with its fighting style. God, I love this series so much
