Arto Lindsay is unreal, a weird and fascinating mixture of brasilian and portuguese folk, chamber music and psychedelic rock. Would give a pound to understand all the lyrics.
When Golden Palominos went country and Arto Lindsay went Brazilian, I thought we would never hear Arto's freakish spazz anymore. But this satisfied my sensors.
There is a bunch of musicians that are full Brazilian and freakish jazzy. Actually, I think that Brazilian extremely rich miscellaneous musicality is perfect for spazzy jazzy. Just listen to Airto Moreira, Flora Purim, Hermeto Pascoal, Bianca Gismonti, Lula Côrtes & Zé Ramalho - Paêbirú album, Metá Metá, and enjoy :)
@@narrash_a Actually, you are extremely correct. Love me some Airto and Flora Purim! But I think I might have been thinking of Arto's added New York no-punk subway of rocknroll anger slashing through it all. I've never heard that amount of self-hating frustration and violence coming from Airto. The music you listed is wonderful, well-adjusted, amazing, and horribly beautiful.
I've just recently discovered Arto's music and this sounds like a very interesting phase to hear in a musician work. I hope I can dig more into his music.
@@narrash_aArto and Airto!! 😅 Coincidentally listened to Hermeto Pascoal's first album for the first time yesterday, then found a CD of Arto's 'Prize' at a thrift store in rural Minnesota that afternoon.
I guess Im asking the wrong place but does any of you know a way to get back into an Instagram account? I stupidly forgot my login password. I would love any assistance you can give me!
Muy bonito, exquisita textura musical, buen vehículo para escapar del silencio pero aún el silencio se mantiene en la obra de alguna forma inexplicable.
