I like the running commentary, but it seems a bit too quiet. I think when you’re recording, you subconsciously narrate as if you’re talking to yourself. You need to talk as if you’re carrying on a conversation with someone across the room
That looks amazing. What a great build. I loved the video too. The honey comb looked spot on and adding the wireless charger was a good move. Great stuff, well done.
Beautiful design. I'm looking for a sofa table. I love the charger idea. I'd like to find a way to incorporate the Servita into the table. The servita is a automated drink pourer. Check this out... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QeUL73Gh2BQ.html Did you use Vectric V-Carve to design the top for the CNC? Any chance you would sell your design files? I realize it's not a one size fits all kind of scenario, but, it would definitely help when designing it to have kind of an idea of where to start. Subscribed and liked!!! Nice!
Thanks, I’ll have a look at the Servita. I’m not sure my cnc files are quite upto sharing standard, Broinwood and Stephan Forseilles have excellent videos on inlays.
Dang dude.... that's one nice labor intensive piece of small furniture. Now you need to build a room around it worthy of such a fine piece. Hmmmm that'll only take 5 years or so. Peace out!
just saying, not everyone can afford a cnc as a hobby woodworker, so showing all the time using a cnc to create things does not show real craftmanship.
I started off with a CNC and worked backwards and still have lots to learn about traditional woodworking. That said, you still have to create the designs and know how to program the CNC machine which is a skill that has to be learnt and improved just like with any woodworking tool.
That’s a bit negative. Why not say “wow, awesome design and execution. It’s not something I can make myself as I don’t have a CNC, but you nailed it!”. The dude is making free content for you to enjoy, cut him some slack.
You did a great job with the video and the table. I like that you pointed out ur mistakes and how you fixed them. Too many people on RU-vid make you think they get it on the first try and it takes a day to do. All in all, the whole project looks great
After the algorithm recommended your channel and me binge watching all your videos to date (all 4+2 shorts) I can’t wait to see what further beautiful designs you bring forth. Keep up the great work! Oh and yeah keep the voiceover, I say I connects you further with your audience and I myself find it hard to read the captions and focus on the progress being shown. Much easier to watch without. Excellent work
Keep the voice over. It enhances the personal experience of your videos. This sets it apart from the 10 a penny efforts of speeded up or shop noise / tacky music types we see all the time. You have a natural presenting style so incorporate it where you can. Subscribed!
Thanks. I usually do a rough design in Fusion360 to work out dimensions. For this project I used Vcarve desktop to generate the cut files, I find it easier than Fusion to make simple designs and inlays. Then the gcode was loaded in cncjs to run the cuts.
I enjoyed the content and the format of your video. I’ve been scouring RU-vid to find an idea for a sofa table and along came your video. I’m going to base my design on your idea, thank you for sharing
@@FullStackWoodworking thank you. And keep up with the content. As an early subscriber (as of today), I am really impressed with your projects and editing.
First time viewer although a woodworker for over 45 years now. I rate the video highly - both in terms of the end product which is stylish enough to be interesting and your personal approach. I wouldn’t suggest you change it all so long as it seems natural to you. I think that the explanation of mistakes and corrections makes it human and the explanation of choices make it intriguing. Well done. And subscribed
I've been working on the format of this video, with more voiceover and explaination of whats going on. Do you like this or prefer just shop sounds/music?
