When I first heard Sultans of Swing I thought it was the Shaddows as it was on my car radio and I caught the instrumental break. M K had the same purity of tone on that Stratocaster as Hank Marvin.

This combination should have done several recordings together because they are a perfect fit, their voices blend nicely oh man I can never get tired listening to MK from the times of Dire Straits and the very best Madam Emmylou Harris. Thank you for wonderful songs!!!

Mark Knopfler is one of the greatest guitar pickers ever. Sultans of Swing was by far the best guitar solo. I would give a month's wages just to see him perform it live
