My cash is usually a physical representation. I unstuff the bills for each month at the start of the month (perk of being ahead) and I have a balance of money kept in my account with an unnamed purpose as a ‘cushion’ or ‘buffer’ so if I haven’t deposited yet, the bill will come out of that until it is refunded by my monthly amount 🤗 I hope that makes sense!
I know you really enjoy savings challenges but if it were me, I’d take the something-like-$895 out of that binder and reallocate for now, then maybe restart challenges in a few months. You might feel better with your annual fund refilled and I think that would get it close. Then, your tax refund could refill your emergency fund. Then, the money you would normally put in challenges can go to refunding your sinking funds or your joint account if that’s going to need more now. I’m not sure the deferred gratification of savings challenges is worth the stress in the meantime.
Haha you’ll see me reallocate those finished challenges in my next video! I’m inspired to power through them at the moment which is making the delayed gratification not too harsh
I think you are doing so well, but you are waiting for a few things to sort themselves out, so feeling a little out of sorts maybe. Is there something in your diet that might be giving you headaches also? Hope they go away soon.
Definitely feeling exhausted from change and the waiting period of so many life things. I’m pretty sure my headaches were caused by my birth control 😣🫠
Statement earrings can be really fun. I can't make a solid suggestion, because i obviously don't know what your hair is gonna look like it what your dress looks like. So, i like them if you're aiming for a half up do and your dress is relatively simple (ie minimal bedazzling or feathers or stuff like that). If your dress is more elaborate and/or most of your hair will be down, maybe the more simple earrings. Are you planning to have like white flowers or other embellishments in your hair? Cause that always looks so pretty, especially with a more simple, elegant look. My little sister and two of my best friends got married earlier this year, with this being my sister's second marriage, so i am still a bit in wedding brain, haha
You didn’t stuff future in this video or plan for it I may be a little slow as I’m still trying to catch up on a couple videos but was that a mistake or is that paid off too now ? Would love a small video if your okay with it maybe outlining the budget for wedding would be really interesting to see the difference in areas for that
I will definitely break down the wedding budget after the big day so I can include all expenses. It wasn’t a mistake, I just didn’t have money spare in the budget for it as I prioritised my annual expenses as I am about to have a bunch of those bills coming in 😬 I think I’m getting close to having future fully funded so I skipped it this paycheck!
@@TaylahLouiseBudgets okay! My last couple pay checks looked the same too but I have to re film them as their disappeared Looking forward to that video when it comes out
I was given a tool as part of my current program to determine my deficit. I started on 1800 and now dropped slowly down to 1600-1650. But I’ve been aiming for 140g of protein per day the whole time!
I was saying the same thing to my husband how lucky we both are to earn over $3k each a fortnight. It’s very new for me to earn this much. It’s a bit overwhelming for me so Im doing saving challenges for around $900 a fortnight so it’s not being wasted. I’m so proud of how far I have come in my career and my savings.
You are really enjoying working on and hitting your goals which is fantastic. Well done on the debt payoffs. I think the feeling of being debt free is so hard to understand until you actually get there.
I think even I don’t fully feel the ‘debt free’ joy yet as I’m in the works of being almost maxed out on mortgage debt. I’m looking forward to that being over and just having a standard mortgage and no other debt and not having to stress! ☺️
Congratulations on smashing your goals! I'm also trying to read more but I'm still on book 1 for the month haha. What kind of program are you on, if you don't mind me asking? - I'm looking to get my fitness up but I need motivation 😅
I’ve had a good start this month and finished two already! I’m in an Eat Like Ruby Fat Loss Phase 🥰 but I’d argue you need to be already motivated for a program like this! In the past I’ve used the Body fit app subscription and it’s been good 😊
@TaylahLouiseBudgets I decided to join because of you. I checked her out and the food seems simple and nothing is off limits within reason and that appealed to me
yep, budgeting is about planned spending, no guilt. I have been enjoying your short reels on insta, you are really doing so well sticking to your gym sessions!
Thank you! I mostly do them because I personally find it motivating & I hate that people with bodies like mine only post content that is like “it’s okay for you to be in a gym” and “look I have rolls and it’s okay”. I appreciate that they are trying to make people feel comfortable but it’s sad that they can’t just make content without talking about their size.
That was really good seeing the difference with the car debt gone! I know the mortgage etc allocation will be back, but you are already feeling the benefit, even though it hurt to pull out all that cash for the debts. Love it!
Well done 👏 your a machine. I wish i ate different foods i struggle trying to eat healthier as im super fussy but ive always thought your a mega inspiration x please do more of these videos im currently watching while at the gym starting my journey just with cardio x
