I am also interested in this. I have an HND in Food Technology but I am interested in pursuing my master's in nutritional science to qualify for RDN in the US but I don't know how possible that is. I will be glad to get feedback that will help me.
New sub. Great video. Having looked into this, I think it’s important to understand the significant difference between motivation for nutrition and an interest in the science of dietetics. Do you want to work with people tackling disease who need highly specialised diet hence the intense science aspect of being a dietician. And/or do you truly understand the roel and responsibility of a dietician? It needs specific learning in science in a way nutrition doesn’t. Course syllabuses make these differences and details clear. If interest is more generalised then dietetics probably isn’t for you. Know what you want to do with the qualification and more importantly why you are doing it. There is a difference and a dietician and nutritionist can serve very different purposes. Sometimes it’s helpful to go to different professionals for the two specialisms re perspective and insights.

I'm a life coach and would like to look into nutrition as a niche. Also, I think careers in nutrition and dietetics are going to soar over the next 10 years. Don't believe me? Four states have now started pulling foods with certain chemicals in them off of the shelves. We now have "healthy" junk food. People will always be interested in what they are eating and how to eat well for optimum health.

How can she register as a nutritionist and a registered dietitian in these countries? She has extensive experience in both areas, working as a dietitian for almost 6 years and as a professor for 15 years. Could you please guide us on the procedure to become a registered dietitian in the respective countries? I appreciate your assistance in this matter.
Being an RD for 25 years was very rewarding and I DID make very good income. I worked at the state and Federal levels which gave me numerous travel experiences, flexibility, challenges, creative opportunities and generous compensation!
So how about if you do not have a bachelors in Nutrition or any related course say, you are a lawyer but want to become a nutritionist? Can you straight ahead take a masters in dietectics?
ugh I love seeing black women in these spaces. This was very enlightening on registered dietary career, which is my dream job that I plan to become one day soon.
The struggle is real. I got a pixie cut after going 7 months weave free. I had gotten my 16 inches of natural hair, relaxed. It was glorious for 3 months, (from Dec 22 to Mar 23) then sections of breakage appeared. Fast forward to Dec 23, the Pixie from June 23 is in an awkward stage. A hair diva, I am not. I can barely do large cornrows on myself. Going to a descent stylist twice a month is getting costly. At this point, I'm just trying to grow my hair out without applying heat to style in the morning. The struggle is oh so real. I'm trying to educate myself and learn how to work with my hair instead of against it. Growth retention, while maintaining a classy style is the name of the game. Thanks for sharing your journey as we all learn together.
If people are practicing nutrition and teaching others how to eat better, as nutritionists, they should not be punished by rats, that make calls on them. We have far bigger scammers, rapists, pedophiles, DUI drivers, etc, to be making calls, so honest ppl can't make a living. Dr. Sebi wasn't a licensed dietician, but he healed many. How many of you or your friends, can reverse diseases ? Don't be mad, because you have school debt !
