Hello my friend! I have a Mercedes E 220 w210 also and I ordered some 6,5” JBL speakers for the front doors speakers but I saw that you installed some speakers of that size in the back of the car. Do you think that they can fit in the door speakers or they probably will be to big even with some adaptations?
I was a little uncertain of getting a set of these for mine as I was scared they’d look funny. But honestly this video gives me all the angles I need. That looks sweet!
I live in Jakarta, Indonesia has a problem with SBC units having to be replaced because the pressure is only up to 70. My Mercedez is W211, E240, Avantgarde. However, Mercedez Jakarta only provides a warranty for the replacement of the short timing cable. Can anyone share an email address of Mercedez Germany to ask about this?
I’ve always loved this car, all the dope boys in NYC had these cars back in the day. I just saw a nice one on Marketplace at a good price and I’m soooo tempted but the ABC scares me. I just replaced the entire suspension on my LS460 FSport and that was not for the week or timid cause it was NOT cheap!
My right rear wheel samtays down until i rais it with the button, then all 4 go all the wat up, and stays all the way up. Very stiff ride. Any suggestions
When you own a real AMG, it’s a little infuriating to see copy cats that aren’t the real thing. My advice is sell your car and buy an E55. They’re cheap and for under $15k you do a few mods and have 700hp and all the AMG parts!
I can understand the frustration. I had this car and a CL55AMG in the same time. I never wanted the E class to be an AMG and would never have badged it as such, but I drive it every day and I wanted it to look good. It was great on gas and reliable, so I put some effort in making it look better.
@clairebailey5392 I personally dont see anything wrong with this. It’s not like he’s lying to everyone claiming it to be a real AMG. It’s his money so he could do whatever he wants with his car.
Hi there. I hear you're mentioned the smell of fuel when you fill up to full. Do you know what was the fault that caused it, what did the dealer fix? I have the same problem with my E500 here in South Africa, I want to fix my one, and see if I can do it myself.
I replaced all those accumulators twice (in 150,000 miles). Then I installed Yellow Speed Coil-Overs and never looked back. Plus, you get to remove 60 foot of hoses and pipes, four accumulators, two valve blocks, stupid tandem pump. Do it... and don't look back And No, you don't need sway bars on a 6' wide car that has 3" of suspension travel.
I Went with his hiro Coil overs.. Just just replace these struts and have the liquid drain out of it I didn't worry about the rest of that abc system and I'll tell you something it's a little bit faster and it handles much better! .. The difference in the ride I can't remember it it's where the market really small,, Do not get the old man's mode I think you will be disappointed I drive it at the sport mode and the difference is just negligible.. Race cars require sway bars I didn't notice it in my driving time... I wonder whether the value will go up I doubt it?
