Nice. Monoblocks are dope but heavy. Now you can upgrade the brakes to E55’s but you can’t show them off :(. I was thinking of the 2000-2002 e430 wheels then do the big brake upgrade. I like my stock 16s mainly since I daily it . Once every year or two I find myself in a situation where I’m glad I have extra rubber for those damn curbs of sometimes rough roads. The monoblocks are a little unforgiving in that sense. Oh, I went and painted the wheels to match the car and it’s really grown on me. People who have noticed liked the touch. The old 70s hub caps where painted why not paint ours😂😂
I have two sets of E55 calipers and two sets of front rotors and one set of rears waiting for my E430. Car will get new rubber brake lines. My stock brakes are in great shape so swap will have to wait. I have 17 inch Sport rims which clear E55 brakes fine.
Hey brother, the car is looking really good, I have a e320 from same year I believe (1997). Mine right now having electrical problems and was thinking about selling, but every time I see one of your videos motivates me to work on it and keep it. Keep up the good work and continue the videos….
I would have also picked the monoblocks, the timeless E55-esque look. definitely the right choice. (I just wish they weighed less or I would have gotten them instead of the Sparco superlights)
I have the exact same colour w210 E300td and those faded black side skirts are very easy to fix, i repainted mine in an hour with some light sanding and clean with wax and grease remover and 3-4 coats and the doors taped off it came out very nice and it makes the car look fresh and not dated. i would recommend it highly
