My son always catches the biggest bass anytime I take him bass fishing. I have 2 huge bass mounted on my wall that I caught when I was younger, and my son literally caught a bass way bigger then the two I have mounted. And he caught it on a 2 foot long dock demon fishing pole with 4 pound test line. It weighed 8 pounds 11 ounces.
Hahaha I’m in Natchitoches and never fish Toledo but don’t think I wouldn’t bring my 14 ft with my 6 hp and ride the waves lol good luck this year man maybe one day I can fish with you as a co angler
Can you speak to the levels that are safe to run those lanes? I've seen various numbers on websites but with the lake level currently around 168 are all the lanes still navigable or shoudd some be avoided?
No offense I respect fishing pros but that more of a hobby not a job even if your getting paid good money it’s not hard labor my dad a trucker and he gets 4/5 hours of sleep a night and is on the road non stop for a month that’s hard work
Great Q&A. Really enjoy watching your videos and your social media posts especially since we’re close to the same age. Safe travels & Good luck this season
I’ve seen this twice and both times was in the month of May. I believe they fight over spawning territory. It’s pretty wild to see. Both times they were blue cats also, not sure if any others do this, but blues definitely do.
Nothing but the best of luck to you and your wife, absolutely enjoying the vids and we will get through the good and not so good together, keep going! you got mad skills !
Great and inspirational Q&A video! You are an inspiration for many of us out here chasing the same dream and this video provided some really good insight and reality of what that dream looks like and what it takes to get there. You are really "Good People" and it shows in all of your videos and I want to thank you for personally stopping and helping me one time on the water during an Open Series practice on Grand Lake because my boat wouldn't start and I needed a jump.
Dennis, man thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. It really means a lot. This video spurred some more questions from anglers so maybe once this event is over we will answer those once we get home.
