Hmmm yeah that was pretty easy. Pretty uh. Pretty nonchalant about beating it. Really, I thought.. uh... that Forsaken City was harder. This one didn't really take too much of my focus... haha... (<- died 1500 times and it took 3 hours to beat)
seemed hard and complicated but then I figured out you can skip everything as long as you know the cell code to end the level, which is always the same ( FXR ) really useful since this level has a glitch that aborts the mission on completion (it's almost like they built in a shortcut)
Through the ENTIRE game so far, there were only two moments I thought were bullshit One was in pico8 where the game expected you to know you can walk through spikes if you go through the sides The other one is this wall bounce shit. I don't mind them introducing new mechaniscs on a b side, but for the love of god, do that at the beginning. Asking the player to master a completely new mechanic at the final stretch of a level is fucking sadistic. They don't hold back either, some of these jumps feel almost pixel perfect Celeste is such a well designed game that moments like these stick out like a sore thumb, it's really a shame
I'm doing about my 5th or 6th playthrough of Dark forces (this time on the remaster) since first playing it way back in the day and this time I've decided to 100% all the secrets. I like how your videos are labeled by Secrets and other information so it's easy to jump to the spot in the video. Great work on these playthroughs. Also, 30 years later this is the first time I learned about the Ewok on this level and the "smoking area" in the previous level. I loving learning something new 3 decades later.
I remember when I was playing this mission the phase 2 dark trooper jump scared me and immediately blasted me in the face with a missile 😂I didn't hear it because of the noise all the machines were making
Very helpful. I'm still stuck on Voeld. I may give up and come back. But I like to take the worst down and then the rest will be fairly easy. What I don't like about it is that if you get one leg done and then get killed, it starts over from the beginning again. I'm like really? They should start you back where you left off.
Thanks for the explanation I just beat it and was so confused and disappointed cause after seeing the key slot the first time you go into the ventilation I automatically new I was gonna have to escape the employers but I thought maybe it would lead to a last playthrough where it's after everything in the simulation happened and you have to find a final way to escape but nope just a cut scene and confusion
The Deathly Hallows are my favorite magical artifacts in the franchise so I was floored when they designed a whole trial around them. The animation is so good and the final fight was one of the most stressful in the game up to that point.
