My interactions with some of the most venomous snakes in the world. Herping videos, as well as content with captive snakes such as room tours. New videos out weekly so subscribe please!
Lovely filming considering the difficulties of getting lighting right while mobile in a rainforest environment. Also, when a snake is marked venomous you need to pay more respect to the risks of being bitten, snakes can all of a sudden decide they've had enough and strike not just a limb but also yo face or neck giving you no opportunity to apply a tourniquet/pressure bandage.
Thanks a lot! I am very aware of the risk of being bitten, and even though it may not look like it, I am actually very careful. Hence why I’ve been able to do this for the past decade with thousands of snakes successfully.
No, I’m pretty confident in my ability to read their behavior. If I ever feel like it’s not wise with a certain snake, I do not handle it this way. Happens all the time.
@DAVIDSFEED I do rattlesnake relocation in Arizona and approach these beautiful creatures the same way. Be safe out there brother and keep creating content. Love your channel.
I can’t say how jealous I am. I was in Thailand and Malaysia 20 years ago looking for arboreal pitvipers. Many long walks in forests at night. We didn’t even have LEDs back then 🙈 Or social media for sharing/ getting info, meeting up with others doing the same, etc. I was a total noob and didn’t even think to look for them Bangkok! Now I learn they were probably all around me all the time 😆
Of course, never replicate this, but with such an expert it shows clearly that these animals are considerably more intelligent than we though before. They are not monsters only thinking about biting us. These animals calculate and do analysis of the situation. In a summary, snakes are not as stupid as they were though before and more studies could demonstrate this. All the best.
However skilled you are with snakes, you are taking way to many risks with dangerous snakes. I hope You Tube comment as well because you will always get idiots who watch your channel and think what you are doing, they can do!
It works me for me, so I’ll keep at it. If someone tried to copy it and gets bit because they saw a stranger on the internet do it then that’s 100% on them. The world is full of things that can be dangerous if attempted by the wrong person.
I love the fact this guy is stroking landmines on the mouth like if they were hamsters and nobody comments. Even Chandler had his lot of suprises on his Asian tour
this is the number one kept venomous snake in Maryland. Most everybody know who keeps these goes to pa. to the Hamburg show and buys them because of Maryland silly laws that nobody pays attention too. lol. great video brother.
Oh forgot to let you know , free handling snakes is something snakes really enjoy - and they don’t ever bite people! So you’re always going to be totally fine free handling captive and wild animals. Don’t worry ! 😉
@@DAVIDSFEED I agree with that for sure. I think my conclusion is just maybe they don’t need to be touched by anyone unless it’s removal. But I have enjoyed seeing the amazing animals you come across and I hope the best for you , your channel , and obviously your safety and the animals. You obviously care about them too. Keep up the good work.
Trust me, it isn’t always easy. I just don’t film all the times when I find nothing. One episode sometimes comprises of footage from 100+ hours in the field.
You make me so nervous picking up these venomous snakes, but I could see the joy the melanistic Habu brought to you. Please be careful, but glad you're enjoying yourself. Please stop kissing the venomous ones on the head, they don't understand that sentiment and it takes your eyes off the snake actions which could result in a bite to your throat, etc... Please be careful!!
Thanks for the input, Chris! I’m aware the snakes don’t understand the concept of kisses, that’s purely for my own enjoyment and humor. Even though it may not look like it, I am always extremely careful and only do so when I deem it as reasonably safe. It would be difficult for the snake to turn around and bite my face before I could pull away.
