Finding a wild Siamese Russell's Viper (Daboia siamensis) in eastern Thailand. This is one of the most feared venomous snakes in the country and rightly so, it is incredibly toxic, has a bad attitude, and is found in agriculture. Other noteworthy finds include the Malayan Krait, White-lipped Pit Viper, and more!

Those goddamned Russel's Vipers are like the one snake that really scare the fuck out of me. Even if you survive the initial bite, you're probably gonna die from renal failure within the next couple of years. Maybe I'm wrong and that's just an old wives tale. Either way they're fucking terrifying.

Funny,I remember the first time I saw a Russells in Florida at Bill Haasts Serpentarium. He was doing his snake show along with milking some of the cobras. Well, he took one of his plastic crates from the table walked around and went onto the lawn.' Soon as he lifted the lid the loudest, most powerful HISS Ive ever heard came from that crate. The hairs on the back of my neck went straight up and my blood chilled. I lived in Nebraska for four years and caught, kept and bred bullsnakes. A 5ft bullsnake can sing, believe me,but this Russells was terrifying. It never stopped hissing methodically....and I didnt get used to it. At first, this guy had the girth of a Ball,so I figured we were looking at a big Russells. Wonder what other cocktails are in its venom to do what you said the other effects are.......Holy St Peter !!!!!

Incredible footage, and quite disturbing to see a Malayan krait being free-handled at night - that venom is just too potent. Do you have videos about watching or even catching, giant centipedes? It would be amazing to see them foraging at night in the Thai jungle.

Yeah right, this guy thinks he's invincible, said he wouldn't handle the russell's viper but he just couldn't help himself, after a minute or so he's fondling & caressing the damn thing, what is wrong with you????? also your antics with the krait were downright sickening, just one tag from that vile serpent and it's all over red rover, but then again I guess you know best...I'd very much like to know why you have the urge to touch these deadly animals without using protection, gloves would be a good start, please explain your reasons/rationale behind free handling when other veteran professionals steer well clear!!!Just asking...
