Thanks a lot! I’m glad it showed because I definitely studied and did my homework. I couldn’t agree more, it was very obvious who did and did not have a clue what to do. Just in my short video, there are several not following procedures.
Listening to the arrival frequency and watching ADS-B tracking online, there was some pretty sketching flying going on. One guy was unresponsive on the radio and was flying backwards (!) along the railroad track approach. Controllers were going nuts trying to ward him off. @@bwbassman66
Awesome video bro. Loved seeing the entire sequence of events. Most Osh arrival videos show only the hectic/frantic compliance and instructions and portray it always as a super difficult arrival. Thanx for showing the entire arrival.
Thanks Man! I’m glad you enjoyed it. I was worried it was too long. I cut about 15 minutes or so off the beginning when we was merging into the line, that was kind of hectic as well. I was hoping people wouldn’t get bored with it.
90. But the GoPro was giving ground speed, we had some tailwind. I was going a little faster because I had some high speed planes behind me that I knew was having trouble going slower.

Might want to consider adding shoulder harness' to your Citabria. I added STC Hooker 4-point harness to my 1975 7ECA. Relatively cheap investment for a big safety improvement.
My dad and his operators also ran Rome discs with these. The biggest discs we had for it were over 30' wide..huge! The new grou discs were used for land that had just been cleared of trees and hard as a rock..small width but REALLY FREAKING HEAVY! Had serrated pans...cut DEEEP
My dad managed a 12,000 cotton and soybean operation in Mississippi for over 50 years. His boss had 8 of these and ran them with LazerPlane double dirt pans, leveling (with a slight drainage to one end/corner)100 acres a year...1,000 avre fields, almost 16-18 hours a day. It was around 1980 and later for years they ran these tractors. I spent 1,000 hours riding with operators that were my dad's good friends (they were the best dirt crews back then). You never forget that sound! Thank you for sharing
8 seconds in the 1/8th equates to about 12 seconds in the 1/4. Not too bad, but for all the money that guy spent he could have just gone supercharged or turbocharged. More HP and Torque that way and no expensive cams needed that don't add much power to these 4.6L 3v engines anyways.
Who cares. That guy spent his money how he wanted to. This is the problem with north American car culture. People have the opinion that everyone's car should be done how they would do it and anything else is stupid and bashes them for it. So everyone just ends up building the same car. Nobody does anything unique or different because they will just get bashed and hated on. Just let people spend their money and build their car their way. And if you don't like it just move on. Don't try and tell people how to spend their money and build their car. Don't be that guy.
@@Boss-bf7ru so you are saying I should keep my opinion and very nicely put constructive criticism in my original comment to myself? So you are gonna be that guy huh? You can have cams and a supercharger or turbocharger and still have the sound, the whine, the power, etc... To each their own and I never hated on him or called him stupid so you automatically decided to be that guy that insinuated stuff I never said. 👍👍👍
This is RU-vid and if you don't like or want comments of other's opinions then turn the comments OFF. It really is that simple especially when I tastefully made my original comment. Have a great day!
Pinecone Outdoors it's not hard at all to get them aligned. There is plenty of space on the little pins to slide back and forth until you get them just right. For the GoPro I just used a curved adhesive mount. I tried to center it right on the CG.
So I finally got my Mutha Thumprs in and love them but I'm getting a whistle like sound while accelerating its not very loud but I'm just wondering if its normal. Is it the sound of more air being sucked in?
