Well done, Ben. Thanks for doing it - quite possibly the single most useful resource I've found so far for demonstrating what the device can do. Some beautiful footage of the birds too.
I know this is a long time out since the release of this video, just a whiny complaint so that when you make others like this you can adjust if you want. So when discussing focusing, you go into the menu and say go here, adjust this, but you don't explain what adjusting this does, there is no reason added. I find it helpful to remember better if I know why I am doing something, rather than just straight rote memory.

Его заинтересовало, благодаря чему зимородок так хорошо справляется с резким переходом из одной среды в другую, ведь сопротивление воды намного больше сопротивления воздуха. Ответ на этот вопрос помог разрешить сложную проблему, связанную с движением сверхскоростных поездов. «Когда поезд на огромной скорости влетает в узкий тоннель,- объясняет Накацу,- создаются воздушные волны, которые нарастают, подобно волнам прибоя. При выходе из тоннеля они достигают скорости звука и производят низкочастотные колебания, которые вызывают громкий хлопок и аэродинамическую вибрацию, настолько сильную, что от людей, живущих за 400 метров, поступают жалобы».Инженеры решили использовать в качестве прототипа лобовой части поезда клюв зимородка. В результате скорость экспресса возросла на 10 процентов, а энергопотребление сократилось на 15 процентов. Вдобавок к этому, давление воздуха при движении поезда снизилось на 30 процентов. Теперь, проходя через тоннель, поезд уже не создает такого шума. Что вы думаете? Появился ли клюв зимородка в результате слепого случая? Или же это дело рук разумного Творца? OLYMPUS IS THE UNDERATED CHAMP - I just found two old Olympus E420 and E520 10MPix for $100 at a pawn shop like brand new and each one with a lens, battery charger and 2GB M2+ Memory Card and the other with 4GB CF memory card. Not too many MPix but the images are coming out as they should, the color accuracy is lifelike and compared with another Sony Bridge that I have with 20MPix sensor - photos taken with Olympus are better.
Cracking vlog - also a 7d2 shooter and have been in a quandary about, should I go 5d4, r6 or wait for the supposed launch of Canon's mirrorless crop sensor ( r7?) , but the launch of this seems to have stalled :(
Hi Ben, I own a Canon 7d Mark II as well. Do You shoot in raw or jpeg? If Jpeg, then which Picture Style do You use. What values do you set for Sharpness, Contrast, Saturation and Picture tone?
hiya great video as always im actually already using nikon mirrorless and for my wildlife im actually considering one of these cameras including the lumix G9 and maybe the canon 1dxii but not sure but if i get olympus or lumix i may consider this lens or lookin at the 100-400 maybe sigma version or the lumix but u can fit lumis/leice lens on olympus and olympus on lumix cameras
hi ben im not a pro but very passionate severely sight impaired/blind photographer due to be on winterwatch soon but not sure exact episode to show doesnt matter abiliy but can achieve anything but also show how someone like myself wityh limited vision does something which very passionate about s photography i currently shoot nikon mirrorless for landscape, macro, long exposure etc but im actually looking at both the lumix G9 or the olympus em1mkiii or the olympus em1x or maybe look at the canon 7dmkii or 1dxmkii but that lens looks a monster and if had money and get olympus id e getting the lens have u got it or are u considering it
You are a bit confused. The 7D2 has-been my go to camera for years with zero complaints. I have taken thousands of great sharp wildlife images and birds. Amazing camera for the price. Just read your comments. SMH
Forget about RU-vid pressure just do what you do if you like it and the audience will love it ... ads are not worth it ... you earn much of this one coffee donation as from 1k of views of your ads. Ads are just pocket money for fun ... try different method of monetisation and don't pressure yourself or try to copy other "fancy" RU-vidrs out there ... cheers and happy holidays, yes I know that's kind a outdated post :).
