always clay the windows when claying the car. ceramic coat for a more permanent way of keeping dirt and water spots off...windows stay hydrophobic and only need a rinseless dampened microfiber followed by a wipe off with a waffle-weave to clean. never streak again.
Another hint with VHB tape - it's a pressure adhesive. Where I used to work, we used 1000's of ft a day of it. You need to apply at least 15psi of pressure for 15 seconds (in other words, press and hold!).
Does anyone know if you can hook a traditional scratch start torch up to this with rotary gas knob? When pipe welding it’s really nice to adjust grip mid way and having to hold down a button ruins that
Double-sided tape NEVER works. Period. Stop promoting it like there's a way to solve that. You might make it last longer, maybe a few years, but sooner or later, it'll peel back off just like before and the only real way to fix it is with a better mechanical approach like aesthetic screws or bolts, maybe some kind of clipping approach that fastens things based on snap-together fasteners... But double-sided tape, again, will NEVER work. I don't give a damn how many years of experience you have in this shit. That is a lazy approach for half-assed planning and should be avoided EVERY TIME. (Still love you guys and all the work you do. Just stop using double-sided tape. Fasten it the right way. God knows you guys know how to do it.)
@@eastwoodco, or, it's possible the factory moldings were installed incorrectly and they used an approach that's deficient. Go beyond the factory SOP and do something that will last because I promise you that cheesy double-sided sticky tape approach isn't going to last. There's always a mechanical / hardware way to do it.
Just wanna say this absolutely transformed me learning how to do this on my 1968 Norton Commando as I wanted to double check my piston to bore measurement thanks for taking the time to make this
This is why WE....... dont like using flux core wire for welding, you mean yourself, im no welder but i can and have used both, flux core for outside welding yep , as why waste gas...
All metals are TIG weldable except zinc which is the plating used on galvanized steel. The short list: steel, aluminum, stainless, copper, brass and titanium. And you can only use Argon or a mix of Argon/Helium for TIG welding. Argon/CO2 is only for MIG.
I scratched out the weld through primer with a scriber after getting those bad starts but this idea sounds good because it’s quick. I thought the 2K primer would burn off?
Will this work to remove a bad spray paint job on a car, but not rwmove the original black paint, some have said white vinegar, baking soda an water acetone nail polish, theirs so many an im in Europe
