Hi Lizz! It’s a very small and quiet town, and this was early on a week day. It’s probably more busy on weekends and festival days. Thanks so much for watching 🙏
Hi! I’m so glad you liked it; thank you so much for watching 🥰🙏 Check out this video I made on the cost of living in GDL, it might help answer your question: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KOUNUFBDteY.html

I ❤ your content. I can’t wait to visit these towns. Every time I go home I pass by Cocula and it’s mandatory that we stop and get tacos on the side of the main highway. I haven’t entered the town though in over 20years so it’s definitely over due. And Sayula is 2 1/2 hours from home so that’s definitely next on the list of colors 😉 Awesome job thanks for sharing
hey, how are you? very nice to see a new video from you pop up in my recommendations just now! I have heard of Sayula before but not Cocula. both look very pretty and I will add them to my list of places nearby GDL for a weekend trip. when did you shoot these videos? everything looks so green. maybe just your camera settings. I loved those really fancy knives! something that always grabs my attention but that unfortunately as a full time "tourist" I cant really justify buying. I loved the long edited outro to the video with the theme song - you did an amazing job with that! I'm actually not in GDL now. I have just found that its too hot there in the spring for me. so I've been in San Cristobal de las Casa, Chiapas since March. the weather here is like eternal spring and suits me perfectly. it's rained about 10 times in the 3 months I have been here too. my girlfriend tol me GDL just got their first rain a couple nights ago. I only have a few days left in Chiapas, then I fly to GDL for a week and then back to Canada for 2 months. my Mexican girlfriend will come during her summer holidays from teaching to visit Canada with me for 2 weeks in August, so really looking forward to that. cheers...
Hi friend - thanks so much for stopping by! You’re right, some of the footage was shot in the greener season, just haven’t gotten the chance to edit and post it until now. We’re also back in Vegas for the summer. A little jealous of your current location; Chiapas is still on our list for future travels. I’d love to return to Canada also, only got the chance to visit Toronto in the past. What places there do you recommend? Not sure if you watched the Ejutla video I posted, I think you’d like it. It’s beautiful and also very close to GDL 🚗
@@ClauChasesColors no, sounds like I missed that other video. will check it out for sure! even though I am from Canada, I dont have much good to say about it. thats why I am in Mexico most of the time now! I'm originally from Niagara Falls - that and the surrounding wine growing region is worth seeing if you didnt when you were in Toronto. Montreal is probably the most cultural city - the most European. Quebec City is the oldest city in Canada. but you kind of need to speak French there. and of course on the west coast you have the Rocky Mountains and Vancouver. when I go back to Canada I stay at my sister's place just outside of Calgary and you can see the Rockies in the distance. and for pretty much anywhere in the country you need to visit between June to end of Sept to make sure the weather is good and the trees are green. if you were seriously planning a trip I would suggest watching a RU-vid channel call the Vaga Brothers and see their episodes on Montreal and Quebec City. (they have both winter and summer episodes). anyways, my last full day here... flying back to GDL tomorrow. the heat is going to be a shock!
This is my home town. I was born and raised there and now have a small home there. You did an amazing job in capturing the true beauty of this hidden gem. I hope you truly loved it and that you come back to visit soon.
Thank you Clau for your amazing coverage of our beautiful town and and a special thank you for your recommendation of Casa Don Luis Restaurante. We were unaware until now of your video, beautifully done. Please accept our belated appreciation and should you visit again ask for our Mgr. Don Ricardo. Saludos!
