Who is here in 2024? Although it was part of the movie script and subsequently the soundtrack, this is the only time in HipHop history 2 emcees actually battled on wax!
Beautiful women, back then, cook outs. Nothing but love. Plenty of rap music. You'll know what happened? You'll forgot about that man upstairs. God first and everything else second. Now, We don't need the man upstairs. He don't exist.
This was good dance rap music, it was fun, clean to a point. Now.adays, its crap, talking about bersting women, and yourselves and smoking drugs, and making wanabes with audiotune stars, no originality !!

This Movie is one the best memories I have as a young man. Me and my best friend at the time went to see it, had a great day. One of the best movies ever, till this day
This movie is depressing because it tries to signify that unfortunate things happen to people for no reason. Life and fate are equally unfair. It doesn't matter if you're white, black, Asian, or whatever. Fate is even more detrimental when you make wrong choices in life. In this case, Anthony, Skippy, and Joe made the wrong choice to go to Vietnam instead of college, in order to make something better of themselves. The entire movie was them making wrong choice, after wrong choice, after wrong choice, pretending like it was society's fault for their misery, instead of their own.
Now... We all like you Barack... but, being a President is no realistic goal for a Nunchuk toting Ninja... You'd make a fantastic carpenter though... Jesus was a carpenter. You can come work for me... Boy.
When I hear this I would love to close my eyes and think of all the current black TV shows and it hurts to see how much has not changed 21st century black explortation.
If I was a black person, I would prefer any of these representations over how blacks portray themselves in modern media, especially in the music videos they themselves produce. Am I wrong?
Blessings in the everlasting God of infinite wisdom and glory, by him truth comes and it shall not fall to the ground. But it shall rise up with the Spirit of the Almighty, and lift up his people. For many years they have been oppressed. They have endured at the hands of their enemies, yet they lose not hope and faith. LORD, have mercy, my God; for thy enemies have detested thy hand. They have risen up against you and your people. Behold, they rejoice in their evil and call my God a liar. Let it be that your glory shall abound, and the hope of Zion stand strong. Let your people rejoice and let them sing your praise. Yea, let those who were called by your name give glory to God in the highest. And let your rejoicing never cease. For by thy hand, and in thy anointing I come before you, humble, in thy power and glory.
