I ran a lawn service crew for years. I could outwork anyone, but eventually learned by training the guys to work as a team and keeping an eye on them rather than working myself, we got far more done. Eventually the guys I trained became crew chiefs themselves, and I supervised all of the crews. Teach a man to fish, don’t give him one.

This is why it is important for me to continue in the Word. If a Pastor or fellow Christian is not available I can meditate go to the scriptures and find peace in the midst of my struggles.

Thanks for the comment. I don't believe I claimed it was the end in the video, but the Bible speaks of the end in such a way that calls us all to be ready at any moment. I'm not sure I foresee worldwide revival. As I understand, Christianity is growing quite quickly in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, though many of those are new Christians, not necessarily needing revival.
Why do Christians never address the fact that ZERO evidence exists of a movement of a couple of million people in the ancient world such as that of the biblical report? They seem to ignore the notion that Egyptian was THE superior nation at that time. So the utter destruction of it would have been noticed across the world. As a cultural and business hub, they wouldn't have been able to keep that a secret, and yet there are no records of that. Also, no record whatsoever of that many people wandering the Negev for that long - no bodies, no trash, no animal sacrifice bones, clothing, broken buckets, not one shred of anything. I go with the idea that the Jews in exile collected stories into a tome to present to Artaxerxes to "prove" their sovereignty as a nation and their eligibility to be returned to their lands. Pretty "David and Goliath" tale that also never happened. And even if it did, the people stopped in a territory held by Egypt so in essence, they never left.

My bible just opened to this. I believe it means that Israelis need to have holy ppl ruling and they need to unit with the Arabs and the Ethiopians n Africans who were the israelites from Egypt.

@@northwoodstripastor i always had a way of communicating with the bible. In there God is saying for Israel to change and become a holy nation or he will bring the gog and mogog prophecies to pass! And that every soul is going to God right now as we speak! The dark clouds could block the sun for a while but the sun doesn't stop shinning above the atmosphere.

I contrast Solomon's words with the guy in Bruce Springsteen's "Dancing In the Dark" who is miserable with his job, his life and himself. so many people like that. What an absolute blessing it is to have a job, a career, a vocation that brings great joy and satisfaction to one's heart and is a blessing to others. I wish and pray that everyone find such a blessing, both during their working years and in their retirement.
Explain to me the morality of god's commands in the bible. Matthew 10:34 Numbers 31:17-18 Leviticus 21:17-23 Leviticus 25:44-46 Timothy 2:11 1 Peter 2:18 Deuteronomy 21:18-21 Ephesians 6:5 Just the treatment of women alone in it should be questioned. The laws allowing for rape, murder, and slavery alone should be sole reason to stop believing. Religion is magical make believe and about asserting empty baseless speculations as if it is absolute truth. Holy scriptures have zero facts. Holy scriptures were not created or inspired by any god. Animals did not come along before plants, the Earth did not have empty oceans or even existed before the Sun was created, Adam and Eve never existed, there has not been a global flood on this planet yet. The burden of proof is on the believers and there is zero evidence. Morality does not need religion, but religion needs more morality.
@@northwoodstripastor With that way of thinking the animals would be running around killing and raping everything and children would be the same way until they are indoctrinated. Nothing is born evil unless you have specific mental conditions. You still did not explain the morality of the bible passages I listed.
Animals are often horribly brutal towards each other. Humans are statistically most violent at age 2, I believe. I don't have to teach my kids how to be selfish or to punch and bite each other, but I do have to teach them to get along. If we are going to critique Christian morality by the standard of Christian morality, that is one discussion, but if we are going to critique it by another standard, then we need to establish what that other standard is.

Father God, thank you for showing us compassion and mercy even if we do not live up to your standard, thank you for cutting all evil ties for your childrren. In accordance with this word and mark 14:27-52, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 I bind one in my life, the lives of my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquintances, opponents and the body of Christ not to be overconfident in thinking one is a good person by oneself, binding myself not to be unequally yoked with and have any common share with those who do think one is a good person by oneself, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!
you are working overtime to avoid directly answering thar question because you know the implication of the correct answer. I will answer yours. who cares where Israelites (jew and ethnos) are today?!? NO ONE IS BORN UNDER THE LAW TODAY!! There are no Israelites born under law today. There are no non-Israelites born under law today. The law was added UNTIL Christ came. What part of "christ nailed the handwriting of ordinances that was against US (Israel) to his cross TAKING IT OUT OF THE WAY makes you think it kept going???? The Elect (redeemed Israelites) were gathered before "that last curse under law generation" passed from the seen just like Jesus said. If you can't see how the scattered Israelites living out in pagan areas were the "ethnos" after everything I've shown you I can't help you. ok....answer away... Did Christ redeem you from the curse of the law that Paul is referring to in Galatians 3-4? PS I bet you don't answer it.
@@northwoodstripastor it's OK. I'm not sure why you need "non-jewish" to be part of the definition for the word "ethnos". If the bible shows a distinct difference between "jew" and "ethnos" (and it does) then it means that in the first century any human that didn't fall in the "jew" group fell in the "ethnos" (gentile) group by default. A jew was from the southern kingdom of JEWdah so all other Israelites were included in the ethnos group. This is evident by the fact that people in the etnos group were being redeemed from the curse of a law that ONLY ISRAEL WAS UNDER. Scripture interprets scripture so we go back into the old testament to see if we can find a place where Israelites are referred to as "gentiles" and behold we find Jacob predicting that Ephriams descendents would become a great multitude of goy (gentiles). Come back to Revelation and we see a great multitude redeemed from the earth. Fast forward 2,000 years and we find people have "spiritually" injected themselves into Israel's redemptive story and think they are redeemed from a law they were never under. If an iffy verse in Rmns 9 tells you the master plan for all humanity then check this out: You (Israel) ONLY have I chosen of all the families of the earth; therefore I will punish YOU for all YOUR sins.” Amos 3 I'm sure God meant to say all humanity there but forgot what the master plan was. Everyone knows it's a story about Israel that's why they magically make themselves spiritual Israel.
The word "goy" is used many times before Jacob is even born in Genesis, referring to nations that are clearly not Israelite. Jacob calling Ephraim’s descendants many “nations” is using the simple meaning of the word. Jacob is not setting up the universal definition of the word, but is simply using the normal meaning of the word “nations.” Ephraim’s descendants can become a multitude of nations while the “jews and gentiles” refers to all people since it refers to one group of people (Jews) and the rest (Gentiles). Even English dictionaries simply define “gentile” as simply “non-Jewish.” Since all nations that are not Jewish are “non-Jewish” then the word refers to all of them. Do you know of any dictionary or lexicon that gives the word such a specific definition as to exclude the rest of the world? How does Romans 9:6 “Not all who are descended from Israel are Israel” refer to sojourners among the Israelites? How do you take the “144,000” to be symbolic but not “Israel”? Are the following list of tribes literal too or not? It is a unique list in all of Scripture. The tribe of Ephraim is replaced with the tribe of Jacob and the tribe of Dan is missing. How does that fit into your interpretation? Will Danites not be saved, but “all Israel” will? In Romans 2:12, Paul writes, “All who sin apart from the law will perish apart from the law…” How do those words make sense if the only thing that matters is obedience to the Mosaic law? In Amos 3, God speaks about the Old Covenant between Israel and God. If that covenant was all that mattered, why does God talk about all the judgment he will bring on non-Israelite nations in the rest of the book of Amos? Amos 1:3 “sins of Damascus”; Amos 1:6 “sins of Gaza”; Amos 1:9 “sins of Tyre”; Amos 1:11 “sins of Edom”… I could go on, but I think you get it. Isn’t God clearly condemning non-Israelite nations in these verses for their sins even though they were not under the Mosaic law?
@@northwoodstripastor "gentile" did include all humanity just not in the context of redemption from the law. True pagans are not redeemed. Paul was heading to one area and the holy spirit stopped him. Why would he be stopped if its an all inclusive gospel? answer: there were no Israelites where he was headed. The bible doesn't care about our questions. The book of Revelation doesnt care what we think is symbolic. the bible says what it says and what it says is "old covenant Israel was under a law that came with a curse and their God had mercy on them and redeemed them from their adultery through a new covenant of grace. How? he died releasing them from the first covenant freeing them to marry another? who? the resurrected Christ! But hey...you win. All humanity is redeemed from the curse of a law that doesn't exist. Great news!
You are making my point. When I press you on what the Scriptures actually say or how we find the definitions of words, you ignore the question in order to stick to your interpretation. You have invented fantasies with no basis in reality, which is why you cannot answer the questions I ask.
