I spoke to Kevin a few years ago due to watching shoreham view , ( chesterfield promotion game ) I admittedly was the worse for wear but had a good conversation with him I unfortunately went through this grief earlier this year due to similar circumstances with a family member RIP Jonny you will be missed
Sadly missed loved his content banter and love for the Club , im Exiled in Canada and Shoreham was a highlight to look forward too R.I.P Jonny and thoughts with Kev and the family
I found this very difficult to watch, but well done Hal, Nick and Kev. Despite never having met Jonny, I feel like I actually did know him, from the way his dad painted such a lovely picture of him. Sending love and condolences to Jonny's family and friends, and to you Hal, Nick and Oli @ SUW for the work you do, and for this video with Jonny's dad. Much respect ❤️
Thank you for this video, lads. Thank you to Kev for sharing his memories of Jonny. All I can say to Kev is please, please, please don't look for explanations for what happened. It is the road that leads nowhere 😔. Mental illness is a cruel disease that can haunt the mind like an evil ghost. Just when you think you've exorcised it, the damn thing reappears! You clearly did everything humanly possible to help Jonny by talking to him and telling him how much he was loved. Like many, I found Jonny and the Shoreham View during the lockdown. His unique approach was infectious, and, as someone who can no longer attend games, I looked forward to Beer & Breakfast before watching the game online, plus the matchday vlogs that followed. He was a first-class videographer!! The news of his passing was a real shock, and I hope the many tributes that you have read from fans will go some way to understanding what a profound impact your son had on so many lives. Match days will never be the same. God bless you, Jonny 🙏🫡
<3 to big Kev, nobody should ever have to carry their own kids to the grave. I only ever spoke to Jonny once personally, but had loads of banter with him on social media. He'll be sadly and badly missed.
Always watched Jonny's vlogs, and he was brilliant with his videography and his match day vlogs..they will be missed. Good to hear Kev,spoke well and from the heart..all the best..RIP Jonny.
I am gonna be brutally honest here, I never really got on with "big Kevin" when I used to watch his previous blogs on the road over the last few years, But Kevin, I take my hat off to you pal for coming on here after such a tragedy to you & the family. Nobody can really understand whats going on in your head I suppose, this moment in time. All I can say is, sincere best wishes to you & your family mate in these very trying times for you all, trying to make some sense of WHY. Stay strong Pal & again sincerest of respect , love & best wishes to you all. Top Man
Never had the pleasure of personally meeting Jonny but felt as though I did, I’m in bits 😢 watching all the tributes for him, it’s something very close to me, Big Kev you spoke so well and that must of been so hard to do, thank you. RIP Jonny ⚔️⚔️⚔️
It's great too see Big Kev looking well after what will have been a horrible few weeks, will always go back and watch the Shoreham View vids, they are there forever! RIP Johnny and all the best to Kev and the family, UTB!
Stay strong Kevin 💪 going through such a tragedy is more than heartbreaking and extremely difficult to deal with 😔 but know Jonny was loved and respected around the world and is sorely missed ❤ sending love and best wishes to you and your family
What a bloke Johnny was, don’t know if he knew the impact his videos had. Being in lockdown alone for six months watching his blogs pre covid is probably what me got through that time period. Without ever meeting him it feels like loosing someone close. Rest east pal ❤️⚔️
From a portsmouth fan. Ref was awful all game. We have a corner and he blows for half time, obviously your injury time free kick as well. Your player was booked for the way he kicked off i believe. He did have a bit of a tantrum
We could easily have lost today, should have taken our chances again though, a good point in the end and not a loss yet , totally the opposite from last year ⚔️
Thank you again Oli UTMB Pisses me off that there is 1063 Views but only 60 Likes ? Pisse's me off the effort you nick and Hal put effort in and these people that view your video's can't be arsed to say thanks...yeah ok some might not agree with what you all say but they still watch Just a Thumbs up To help a BLADES PAGE UTMB Unless it's the pig Fans??? 🤣
Quality is not there among our finishers, check their scoring history. Our season is dependent upon one or more of Brewster (!), Marsh or R-S emerging as reliable goalscorers.
Hi Oli, I'll quite happily take a point from today's game. Portsmouth played well, but we saw them off. Bloomin' 'eck, what a save from Coops - didn't know if I'd dreamt it, or not 😲 United remain unbeaten - clean sheets are a bonus. Think the goals will come, throughout the season. Balance, timing and patience 🙂 The squad ( including the "babies") are still blending and bonding. May have been helpful to have another body up front, to strengthen our attacking force, other than that, I'm happy. Thank you, Oli 👍
Souter a colossus in defence .. we look very solid at the back .. Cooper made a world class save just before half time , JRS got behind their defence so many times .. just lacked that final bit of quality .. fair play to Pompey made it a good 0-0 all in all fair result !!
