I started going to the Lane in 1962 Hodgy and Alan Kelly the best keepers we have ever had Tom McAllister was as good if not better than Simon Tracey IMO
💚⚽️💚Good luck Coops! We all knew you’d have to leave at sometime. It’s a shame those worrying injuries cost us a few bob as a club. I’m guessing the fear of relegation over the chance of promotion made the decision ( and obviously better pay than we could offer ). Hoping you stay fit so we secure knock on payments which will give us more the the true value than the 2m suggested.
Sheffield United fans will enjoy having Cooper in goal for them, he really is an excellent goalie for us at Home Park. Nice guy too from what I've seen in interviews. Good luck to you Michael, thanks for all you did at Argyle.
What makes Cooper one of the best keeper,s in any of English division,s is the fact that he can catch the ball. He will win you points Faced 2 pens last season, dived correctly for both, got hand to both, just failed to keep ball out of net. Gutted to the core to lose him. Worth more than you have paid. Enjoy
Lads & lasses Let him find his feet first before we start giving him Eulogies We thought that Swedish keeper & Gribic were going to be the mustard Just give home time that’s all I’d ask And yes I think he’ll be a good keeper
Dean Henderson was key to our 9th place finish in the Premier League when we only conceded 39 goals. I am hoping (praying! 🙏) that Michael Cooper will have the same impact for the Blades in both the Championship and Premier League. UTB ⚔️
If you'd have seen Hodgy ( Alan Hodgkinson) in the 60's & 70's , then you'd have been ranting about a Goalie son, that we've had between the sticks at the lane.
Cooper sounds like a very good deal for the Blades, and not just for financial reasons. In answer to your question, Hal , yeah, I could picture him at the Lane for quite a few seasons. Good video plus insight from Nick 👍 He could turn out to be one of the best signings of the season. Once again, Wilder has it sussed. Mint!
Feel Bad for Other Teams That are smaller Than us when we sign Their best players, Because we know what it's Like....At least we show respect to those teams. UTMB
We shpuld try to sign that seb raven from wrexham he was the only player really giving us issue but i can see him being a billy sharp figure infront of the net get rid of brewster ffs 😂 been saying this since season after we got him he is absolute doggy doo doo at football cannot even score from 6 12 yards with zero obstruction and has to use another player leg to get it on target 😂😂😂 great signing he was 🎉
Didn’t know about the injuries 🤦♂️ But it’s on now, all the league rates this lad and we love our keepers. As Hal said, we’ve been waiting a while for one. Good luck lad UTB
Recently been on holiday in Cornwall and got speaking to a Plymouth fan. Was a few weeks back. Although not over the line then or now at present. He was gutted as he saw it as inevitable
@@mikeytyler8126 I fully get what you say, but of course it's the same, whilst ever a player is applying his trade to the club that he is out on loan to then he is part of the team. 2 years was very good goal keeping service in a very good Sheff Utd team.
Funny comment that Hal, I have family in Plymouth and my uncle used to tell in the 90's that so many people in Cornwall and Devon support Man Utd and Liverpool but he said if Argoil (as he used to call them) ever reach the top flight they would easily be pulling in 40K every week. He said they have a catchment area of 1 million and the nearest proper club is Bristol City, which is miles away.
