Hi Mate, love the video. HELP re my car is needed. I'm in Perth Australia. I've got a 07 RR Sport. WITH and intermittent fault re the center console stuff and other items. Its doing my head in.............. So, I start the car, the radio works, Sat Nav and AC all work. Indicators all work. Then 3-4 or 10 minutes later, a fault comes up on the dash and the lot shuts down, NO Aircon, No Radio, No SatNav, Indicators stop working and Hazard light start flashing plus the central locking on the doors start opening and closing! Car drives normal. 3-5-10 minutes later it all switch's back on and works again as normal. THEN 5 mins later OFF again. No idea what it is................ HELP pls Thx Mark
My friend do you have a code? It sounds like a module that is causing the chaos. Another thing get your battery checked to ensure you are getting good voltage as a failing battery can cause all kind of gremlins. Keep me updated
The wife is thinking of getting ev and im looking at all the videos of folks complaining. Its crazy they dont tell folks battery is reduced in freezing temperatures, on top of that heat is pulling even more.
Look enough on you tube they tell you about the electric car .The battery price should have been enough not to get it. The wake up everybody should look at why are they trying to stop you from having electricity in your home .
At least you're sincere I spoke to couple uber drivers driving electric cars and they always speak nice of these cars but tends not to spend too much time speaking of the issues during the winter. One time I heard a loud boom outside of my house thinking someone got dropped nahh it was a Tesla.
It's been in the 20's & 30's (F) where I live and I'm barely losing any range, if any at all, in my '22 Model 3P. No parasitic loss when it's parked, either, which is new...last winter I was losing 5-7%/daily just from sitting in the garage but it's been markedly better this year so far. I'm guessing a software update must have addressed that. I love my Tesla, I've never enjoyed a car more, even though I paid $67k with TTL right at the peak of insanity in 2022. I still don't regret buying it. Other car makers are making nice EV's but Tesla is the only one I would buy.
@@mayathebutterfly Yeah, have to admit you are in a crappy situation. I'm sure you can do a bit better selling it on your own but $20k is a big delta. I used to love VAG (VW, Audi, etc) but man, I swear they just don't know how to engineer a good car. The beauty is only skin deep...even my friends e-Tron GT had to be picked up on a flatbed with only 1300 miles. You'd think they would have spent a little more time getting it right.
One thing you can try is to use the heated seats and turn the heat to 75. Keep the car in Eco and it should help you get around 150 -160 miles on a road trip. If she is driving around town this should not be as bad if you have a home charger. Just a tip from another ID4 driver.
Has nothing to dow with saving planet. But cars prices are expected to be $6 a gal next yr bruh. And I live in NYC. That translate to $8 for reg for us. And nobody is starting wars over electricity. Smfh
Change that in for a used Model 3 long range and get out that car. VW gas cars sucked ass too. I don't even know why you even went to a VW dealer 😂😂 smfh
@@sds4810 iPhones aren’t 50-100k either. Those damn sewing machine Tonka toy electric cars are garbage and a money trap, they don’t have good range and you can barely find a charger. People got scammed into buying those cars and now they can’t get out of them. EV’s are not the future.

You have a short in your fiber optic cable.. if you already did the Bluetooth bypass, start your truck and bend your fiber optic cable until your radio come back on. If it does use electrical tape to secure spot. That worked for me
@@mayathebutterfly if I’m understanding you correct if you have two fiber optic ends, pointing at each other inside a tube, you should see one of them blink and the other one blink in response? I’m having a heckuva time trying to find out why my unit is not working. Two days ago I suddenly had no sound and after pulling fuses and putting them back in I still don’t have any sound. I have removed all the components from the boot and inspected them and reassembled them to make sure everything’s connected properly and there’s no corrosion. What is hard the vet is that if I push the AUX button, it will not remain selected it bounces back to the radio as soon as I let go of my finger.
@@crownmoldingbyspectaculart941 with the fiber optic inside of tube, bend the cables while watching radio screen. Sounds crazy but I had a short in my fiber optic cables and I bent them until I was live then electrical tape and just left it. Never had an issue sense. Let me know
@@mayathebutterfly The reason for the question was that in connection with the Eonon / Range Rover, I have often seen videos here in which cables had to be pulled from the very back (dont know what it is in english....trunk? In german we say Kofferraum 😂) to the cockpit. Range Rover and BMW have these two special blue and white plugs that you can't connect any other radio to 😬
Yes it works. There was a short in the fiber optic cable. I bent it until I had a solid connection then I taped it with electrical tape. I did the Bluetooth bypass as well
I was told I need a front drive shaft and some kind of rod , the rod isn’t the rod in the motor ,engine is 100 transmission was replaced a year ago an alternator was replaced 5 months AC , it has 144k miles supercharged sport package, I said all that to ask you , can you give me a ball park figure for repairing my problem , it’s still driving but I want to get it fyx
If you taken to the stealership it will cost more than what the car is worth! Best option is an Indy shop who specializes is Range Rovers. I will call my shop this morning and get a number for you which will give you a range. Btw full size or Sport?
Does this eonon work on Harmon kardon system...2005....same as 03-04-05..right...everything is bmw...please reply...I have 2005 HSE...I need upgrade my oem stereo..
