@@lynnc.beaton1544 light work and an easy way to connect fraction, decimal percent. Thanks for watching new video today on LCM or least common multiple so don’t forget to subscribe
Hi Dr D- I took your workshop in April at CSUMB. I’m taking subtest 2 and 3 this afternoon and I wanted to know if you can refresh the Quizzes? It says “the game has expired.” Thank you so much!
I benefited greatly from your videos and your consultation towards completing and submitting my cycle 1 TPA, my thanks! I wanted to ask if it is permissible to have both cycles be on language arts or if it is mandatory for one cycle to be language arts and the other be mathematics. I have my videos for cycle 2 but I filmed them on a language arts lesson and my submitted cycle 1 lesson was also language arts. Can I use my cycle 2 videos or should I restart with a new cycle 2 video set on a math lesson? Thank you!
I was watching this video and thought, "I know this lady from somewhere" then realized you are in many teaching videos I had to watch for my credentialing class lol. Small world!
I am moving from middle school to 10th grade. We used many of these in middle school but the most successful are the clapping and the countdown. Will 10th graders do this, is my question.
You're not using the "traditional algorithm" (long divisiion) means this lesson is for, according to Graham Fletcher's videos, earlier math progression than 6th grade! This would be useful for 4th and 5th grade, with partial quotients, is that right? 🙂
Reflecting on your video and working through your textbook for the past two weeks, I have learned a lot about myself. Being able to begin tasks and organize them so that I can revisit them as knowledge grows is so valuable. What tech tools could help me to unpack and record this information similar to the transcript? If I could suggest anything it would be to add more dimension to this and really build it out. It's a strong foundation and encourages scholarly discourse.
Have you checked out the Learning Progression tool? It will unpack the standard and share with you sample assessment tasks so you know what students should be able to do after you have taught the standard. The tool is here. achievethecore.org/page/1118/coherence-map
Dear Ma, I hope this message finds you well. My name is GCFR, and I am a mathematics teacher, author, and researcher in mathematics education. I am reaching out to explore potential collaboration with you as a fellow teacher and educator. I believe that working together could lead to mutual financial benefits for both of us. Should you wish to discuss further, you can reach me at: gcfrmain@gmail.com. Looking forward to the possibility of working together. Warm regards, GCFR
Hi there Can I use drag and drop in google slides for third grade for use of technology? They find the solution to the problem and drag and drop the solution in front of the given problem. Does it sounds good? please suggest! TIA
Yes you can but you will have to make the case for why this would support students in developing a deeper understanding of the standard in a way that paper and pencil can not. Be sure you show students collaborating
Hi Dr. Patrcia! Glad I came across your video for my RICA review. I wanted to ask is there a way to access the links or view the documents you mentioned for RICA subtest 2? My exam is in two weeks and making use of my time while not in the classroom. Thanks. 😃
