The slight delay makes this excellent. I also love the opposable thumbs comment from Owen as a one up over the monkeys, where Wes correctly states that "they've got those too".

This was in the DVD extras of the movie. I always wondered whether they filmed this just for the DVD extra or if this was an actual Italian talk show. Watching it 20 years later I can see the Italian interviewer is clearly in on the joke. Funny

I was in Almost Famous. L.A. " English Rocker " my role. Extra. I got a bump for sideburns. I'm gravitating to hanging with the cute women. I'm a harmless chatty rocker anyway in " real " life. They can see. So Cameron walks up to us. He KNOWS THE CHICK. " You can chill in my trailer if you want. " No shenanigans on his part. He was just being kind. " No I'm good. Thanks though. I appreciate it. " Being completely professional. I went to University High Irvine CA. Based very close. Read the book. He was AWESOME. Talked for 10 mins about nonsense. What a nice person. ❤ that's one adventure. Ive had a lot of fun in between waiting. Lol 😂 sleeping on Martin Sheen's fake bedroom set. Ha ha. Dude. You're gonna' get in trouble. Not likely. We have hours. Shhh. Don't blow my cover !!

This doc is great of course but jeez is it filmed badly. Couldnt Criterion cough up enough cash so Wes' 12 year old nephew didnt have to shoot it?

With all the remakes going on, they should have a sequel. 25 years later dignit is out of jail after getting a sentence added in jail for trying escape, he’s found a new sense of purpose in trying to build houses for the poor with his new found carpentry skill

This is one of the few timeless films where the narrative changes each time you watch it. The older we get, the more it makes you confront your mortality, as well as how we receive the message on what "family truly means" to us. I seriously always come back to this film whenever I'm dealing with something in my life, & every single time...I get something new from this movie each time! One of the my favorites of all time and extremely underrated! Not many films today can have a plot, & then a narrative that can change with the perspective of the viewer who is watching it and that's what makes this film by Wes such a masterpiece! 👏
