DErpa derp, shit movie! im not taking my kids to see this, im taking them to go see Alvin & the Chipmunks 2: The Squeakal - $450,000,000 box office. Fuck mankind
i was thinking the whole movie if it was true stop motion or fake pc rendered stop motion. to think that they put this much work into it and didn't win anything is really sad.
Recording the dialogues outside the studio and recreating the same scenes from the movie is a _fantastic_ thing altogether.....which i think no animated has even done.
Well, I only saw this movie 2 days ago and when I heard about it I was "Meh, sounds like as stupid as the cartoons now..." then I was just a bit curious so I watched the first seconds and I immediately fell in love with the art style. I was like "OHMAGAD Is that really a whole stop-motion film?!" then I was so upset that my friend who discovered it at the same time was just like "well, it's just an animation, there's nothing particular with it, is there?" "YES FUCKING GODDAMMIT IT'S ART. DO YOU EVEN REALIZE HOW MUCH TIME IT HAVE TAKEN TO CREATE THIS MOVIE?!" hhh... But well this film is a true pearl of the Animation. I recommend it to anyone.
its 12 if youre not doing it professionally, generally speaking. Any feature length animation you see is 24 fps. Fantastic mr fox doesnt look choppy like any 12fps animation does
Hannah Johns Probably not, and if so it would be really damn expensive, there are so many tiny parts that go into the metal armature (skeleton) it's crazy. Although I'm planning on making a replica myself, already partly done with the armature joints
You are an idiot. Cinema film runs at 24fps, TV usually 30 or 25, but with animation there are often 2 or 3 identical frames together so they do not need to create movment in all 24 frames in a second
