Cab really should have been scrapped,it's going to be much weaker and frankly isn't safe . But,I can't fault the massive effort and shear energy that goes into the work
In the good ole USA, this would be scrapped. Labor cost way to high to even remove some parts. And no workers would want to touch it. So sad, but we're a throw away society. Nothing's worth fixing but our cars. If we can't afford a new one. That's why I love seeing what these men can do.
These "super high skilled professionals" always remind me of the TV series "The Flintstones". When these world-famous professionals are not repairing tractors, they are producing rockets and atomic bombs with their tools.
You beat me to it I was going to say the same, i used to drive them in the 1960's. If they loaded them like that in the UK they'd get the book thrown at them. Another thing is they haven't worked out is why they won't climb hills when overloaded. Also that wind stopper on the front what's that all about it must increase the fuel consumption by seventy five percent.
Can someone answer me:- why do these idiots from Pakistan paint the trucks with these ridiculous paintings and drawings? The trucks look like a Christmas tree. They add unnecessary weight to the truck. What a stupid thing!
I do not want to be over critical of these guys because I know they are working with very limited resources and they do work their balls off repairing these crusher jobs. I would like to make a couple of comments, firstly what is the SWL of that fan belt they use for lifting and I suppose a load test cert is out of the question. Secondly. If you heat a bearing over an open fire not only do you increase the diameter of the I,D. but the O.D. also increases. So what I suggest is instead of beating the crap out of the shaft/bearing to install it into is housing is to wait a while until the bearing cools down reduces back to its normal size and it should go back in to its housing without all the blood sweat and tears the go back into reinstallation Retired mechanical engineer
Overall the cause of the failure cannot be disputed as is with the most cases repair are completed precisely where the fault occurred which is preceded by a team of mechanics who miraculously arrived on the scene within hours of the incident to assess determine and basically restore the truck to road worthiness “Pakistan certification style “
