Wonderful to see this old house. I was born close by in 1960 and always remember the view of it on the horizon. Its sooo sad to see the once great house now derelict to that degree. My late husbands family were gamekeepers who worked that estate and he remembers tales of the whole staff team from Bodnant moving up there for the Grouse season. I need to revisit before it disappears forever.
The trouble with the story, is that many people treat it as a fact, even at the grave in Beddgelert . There should be a disclaimer stating it is just a hoax. A few years ago I spoke to a vicar in Trefriw church, he confirmed it was indeed a made up story.
Cheers Ian. Yes, I'm experimenting with a new Video Editor called CapCut PC. Remarkable what it can do, as it's free! There is a paid version, but all the stuff I did was using the freebie :)
Excellent idea, and beautiful scenery! I am hoping to visit Denbigh soon - I was in St Asaph and Holywell a few weeks ago - and I will try to find this place.
Another fantastic video. Thanks and as always another place for me to visit next time this southern Welsh lad is up North. Keep the great videos coming mate
Well that was a beautiful idyllic walk, very nicely filmed and interesting. Loved that piece of music, what's the name of the song, such lovely vocals I thought. Great video, thanks for your work, most appreciated🌻🌳
Glad you liked it Celest. I'll let you into a little secret. That song was my first experiment with an AI music creating site. You basically give it some prompts, describing the sort of music you want, and maybe a couple of lyrics, and it will produce a couple of attempts. You then choose one of them, make a couple of tweaks, then rinse and repeat a couple of times until you are happy with the track. I'm trying to get it to produce Welsh lyrics now :)
Enjoyed you're video very much, beautiful part of the world. It's been a while since I've commented on your channel. It's good to see you keeping well Will! Cheers, Len from South Carolina USA
I've start by trying to memorise the pronunciation of the Welsh alphabet so that I can hopefully pronounce Welsh language when I see it even if I don't know the meaning. So now during the day I try to keep repeating the words I'm learning here in my thinking . I did notice that the name Will Huw transposed Huw Will ,the Welsh for fun 😄
this is about hour drive from me been here many times apparently its a true story .even though we dont get wolves over here now i do believe some years back the clwydian mountains did once have wolves roaming ....anyway why go out and leave a baby unattended .no ones fault but his really .
If it was some POS who killed his dog I'd just be mad. Yet I have no feeling of evil in the man's heart. Only panic and blind fear for the worst. That's what makes this so damn powerful. It's that the man isn't evil or bad and did love his dog. So you can feel that sinking feeling. It's that moment of realizing that hits and should teach us to always think and be sure before making choices.
