how long is the life expectancy of this product? if i tile the floor, replacing a heating strip will be a really messy job. or is it preferable to use tounge and groove flooring as it is easier to pull up in case of issue?
for that surface area, how much wattage was used compared to wattage use on reverse cycle air conditioning?? I think it is important for a comparison. as most ppl this is still a very new technology
Am eu acasă în toată casa... 180 de mp utili, acoperire 65-70%. Putere instalata 25 kw trifazic. Totul electric, încălzire in pardoseala cu film, boiler, cuptor, plita, frigider, 3 tv-uri, becuri, aparatura ... Stau in zona in dezvoltare (mai pe românește, in camp deschis), zona depresionară rece (langa Brașov). In luna ianuarie am platit la curent 1050 de Ron din care estimez că încălzirea a fost cam 800 Ron.... Izolația la casa de 20 cm polistiren pereții (grosime totala 55 cm), 35 cm vata acoperiș (plus tigla, asteriala, folii anticondens, etc, lambriu), soclu izolat si hidrofobizat cu membrana (5 cm extrudat) izolație in pardoseala cumulat (5 cm in placa, 4cm in sapa, 3 cm sub film, parchet de 12 mm) 12 cm la parter, 12 cm intre etaje (5 cm vata in caroiaj rigips, 3 cm extrudat in sapa, 4 cm sub parchet de 12 mm - casa este parter+etaj mansarda), geamuri tripan de calitate. Așadar... La 180 mp utili, 800 Ron in ianuarie, temperaturi setate pe zone de confort și utilitate, timp de lucru, de odihna, etc. (Temperaturi intre 24 grade in dormitor și 20 in zone de zi... Living, bucătărie... ). Sistemul de incalzire face fata foarte usor... costurile pentru incalzirea unei case sunt date dupa parerea mea de pierderile pe care le are casa si nu neaparat de sistemul de incalzire (cu siguranta e mai ieftin deocamdata pe lemne - la aceleasi pierderi de caldura... dar muncesti... cauta mereu lemne, descarca, stivuieste, depoziteaza, taie, adu-le in camera centralei, dimineta sau noaptea ramai fara caldura... construieste camera centralei - cu film nu e nevoie de asa ceva, te legi direct in tabloul electric... setezi termostatele pe zone de confort si in functie de orele din zi cand esti acasa, etc... si gata... doar platesti factura :) )
Hi. Would this installation method be fine for "meco 50cmx2m underfloor heating mat" as well? If so, could you please kindly let me know all the other materials needed, and perhaps where to get them?
It's mainly used for house heating in winter. For van conversion, it hasn't been applied in this field. It can be run on solar panels, but it needs converter to change the low voltage into 110V-240V, not recommended.
Buna seara. Dupa cunostintele mele orice incalzire cu infrarosu incalzeste doar corpurile sau obiectele pe care aceste unde le intalneste in cale nu si aierul din incaperi. Si dupa cate am inteles acest sistem de incalzire poate fi aplicat si pe pereti lucru pentru care as opta eu si de aceea intrebarea mea ar fi care este sau daca ar fi eficienta o astfel de alegere mai ales ca mi-as dori mai bine zis un "lambriu" cu un astfel de covoras" electric incalzitor.
