Nice collection👍I am looking real hard at the FN510. But since I added the Banshee a month or so ago, I am actually considering to force myself to finally figure out how to shoot a darn Glock, and get the G20 for the magazine compatibility with the Banshee. I have the Springfield XDmE 10mm EDC so the full size Glock makes sense to me...

I also have the MK3 Banshee in 308 Win, that will be my deer catcher.😁 Although I have seen a lot of folks hunt deer with the 10mm.🤷‍♂ You seem to be just starting off your channel, I subscribed and will follow along.👍 Hello from Missouri.👋 Edit* mine is slightly different... I'm gonna give you a huge piece of advice the person that looks the most militaristic and tactical will be the first to die because everybody is going to attack you because you look like you have something on your useful Remember you're not the only one with Guns Switch all those tactical bags out for regular looking bags With a good amount of storage space It's called being a Gray man Your goal is to blend in not stand out
@metalfate0
@metalfate0 2 месяца назад
I'm well aware. My situation of survival is a bug in. It's only in bag form for location fast and accurate if needed. Plus it's a bug out to get me to the rest of my family. My green bag I'll be using for hunting and recon so I'll be in the woods so I don't stress it.
@metalfate0
@metalfate0 2 месяца назад
Plus to bring up the grey man myth is irrelevant. Anyone with anything on them in anything is a target in a shtf moment. Do you really think they will only target tactical or green bags. No common sense they'll target anyone they see bag or not if they are stealing regardless of appearance. There is no such thing as differential. Grey man bags are only applicable in an everyday concealed environment not end of society and rule of law.

Where do you plan to get when you ''bug out''? How far can your family walk on foot? What you have seems more like a camping kit. Everything you mentioned as far as food and water, would last less then a day? Have you ever been to war and felt the stressors of battle? If you have a situation that requires a tourniquet, I assure you, theres no time to read instructions. Why not just include a cigarette lighter?

Did you try to put it all together in your back pack? To me it looks way too much redundancy which will add up big time. What i would take for "survival" (or did take in my bugout bag): - one single walled steel (titanium if you have too much money) bottle and maybe 1-2 additional plastic bottles with 28mm threads - something to prefilter dirty water - a GOOD water filter (preferable with standard 28mm threads for plastic bottles) with some chlorine/iodine water purification tablets as backup - emergency food (i have the same amount as you...like 6-8000 kcal for around 2-3 days) - 3-4 BIC lighters ( plus one good sized fire steel as backup) with some tinder (cotton balls + vaseline and maybe 1-2 small candles/tee lights) - one robust full tang knife, a multi tool and a small double sided coarse/fine diamond sharpener with coarse more important than fine if i you have to pick one - compass and a hiking map of the area youre in/plan to bug out too (knowing how to read/navigate with offline maps is "priceless") - no hatchet but maybe a 8inch Bahco/Silky folding saw with less than 200g (imho optional when you have a small saw for notches on your multitool) - a shovel like the Coldsteel "Speznaz" shovel (i also have a russian titanium one thats a bit smaller but quite a bit less heavy) that has no moving parts and can be somewhat used as hatchet/machete (also optional) - cordage doesnt has to be that thick since you cant use it for climbing anyway...something like bankline #36 should be enough for most stuff - a rain poncho, poncho liner (or sleeping bag if youre in colder climate) + foam sleeping pad (or inflatable if you prioritize comfort over durability), a tarp (optional) - a led headlamp (not with 3-4000 lumen but one that accepts mutliple types of batteries including rechargable ones) - an usb charger for your powerbank/smarphone/headlamp - a small 10-20W solar panel (there are some with less than 500g) to charge your stuff - first aid kits in zip lock bags (except maybe the one on the outside) because all of these pouches add up big time in weight - once camping towel is lighter and longer lasting than all these tabs - clothes according to climate/season but at least spare underwear and 3-4 pair of socks Im no expert on weapons but again you have to carry it AND the ammo should be light/common enough. Using a 9mm pistol carbine with Glock magazines and a Glock is imho one option. Since were not allowed to carry weapons over here it has to be the total collapse before i would carry guns. When i get my gun license (which takes over a year to get) i plan to get a Ruger Mk4 22/45 lite and a 10/22 with a 4x scope and iron sights. Both will be used for (shooting at least one weapon is required for keeping the gun license) the gun range. In addition i plan to get a leightweight revolver like the LCR/LCRx in .22lr just for fun (although they are almost impossible to buy over here) and together with the 10/22 it has a dual purpose for the "zombiecalypse". Although considering that im breaking the law when i carry guns it would probably better to just carry a concealed handgun in that case. Then the Ruger Mk4 would be better since it can be used at a bit longer range and most likely it will be the weapon i practiced most with. And despite .22lr not being that powerful its cheap, common and most importantly lightweight.
@metalfate0
@metalfate0 2 месяца назад
9mm won't drop big game my 10mm pcc will hense the caliber choice. Yes I put it together in my following videos this is a series videos 1 thru 4. I built my bug out bag centered around my skill knowledge and preferences. To each their own.

@@metalfate0 I started out with similar stuff (minus the weapons) but since I didnt want to carry a 25-30kg backpack i did a reality check weighted risk vs. probability. At an age of nearly 50 years i completely threw the bugging out in the woods (not that there is much of it left over here although we have a not so small forest near the city...if you count it as forest when you can always hear the cars from the highway) out of the window since i reckoned its more likely that i just have to leave home for some reason (fire etc.). Thats why the "survival" stuff is very minimalistic but includes my passport and most important papers. It also doesnt include cold temperature gear. For that i have a small bag beside it with additional warm clothes. I got the weight of my bug out bag with the bare minimum down to 15kg including 3L water and around 2kg emergency rations. Thats a weight i feel comfortable to move around with and when i will get tired then its not because of the backpack but only myself.
@metalfate0
@metalfate0 2 месяца назад
@@grayssoncarl5020 my bug out bag is very light for a bug out bag. Since i would be covering alot of ground if need be, i live in the south yet you see i still have a snowboard jacket in my bag, my main source of hunting would be hogs hence my choice of an ar 10mm. I don't need scope distances for hunting here and close to mid at most. My bag is tailored to me, my skills, and my needs. With keeping weight to the lightest i can. You keep talking about redundancy, yet you fail to take into consideration, what you are seeing is for two bug out bags. One for me and one for my family. Once I get my family to safety with other family. I would be doing light recon, hunting, and as such. Hence why my bug out bag has what it does.
@grayssoncarl5020
@grayssoncarl5020 2 месяца назад
@@metalfate0 I thought so too since that were too much pistols even with excessive redundancy. ;-) I got my pack down to 15kg including 5kg food and water but thats very barebone and meant for longer than a few days spent outside. Its more for emergencies than SHTF. For everything else i bug in and after that get to my sister (hopefully with a car stuffed full with my remaining preps and not on foot). Over here its way too much populated even outside the city. Sadly i cant afford moving out of the city. Im so sick and tired of all the people. Luckily crime is not yet as bad as in the US...but our government is working very hard to get there by destroying the country while importing people. In big cities citizens already start becoming a minority. My brother in law is a hunter (and my sister started getting her license too) which is why i dont bother with hunting since i already have a fishing license. Im getting my gun license just to to be allowed owning guns and have the skill using them (and of course for fun). Thats one of the reasons i plan to stick with .22lr guns only. You cant really use guns for self defense anyways due to how the gun laws are designed. You cant carry and at home they have to be stored in a way that you arent able to get it AND have it loaded in time. Plus the self defense law requires you to be fair to the criminal so that he has a chance of winning. Sadly im only half joking about that.

You should seriously reconsider that optic on your CMMG. If it goes down, you don't have irons for backups, so you'll be guessing with each shot of the gun you will be depending on the most for hunting. You should add a sharpening stone for your bladed tools, since they don't weigh much, and if you have to cut into anything resilient (on accident or on purpose), you'll have to touch the edge up again to keep it useful. You should also consider picking up a compact pair of binoculars, or a monocular. Spair socks would be beneficial. Double A batteries are light enough to carry a couple pair, as hearing amplification would be extremely useful. If it were me, I'd go with all 9mm, and replace the CZ and FNs for Glocks for the magazine compatibility across all weapons. Also, I'd invest in a couple good flashlights.
@metalfate0
@metalfate0 2 месяца назад
Have a sharpening stone already not in video since I use it all the time. My work tends to dull knifes out quickly. I'm not a flashlight person, they alert your location to others, and I have excellent rods in my eyes so I can see even in pitch darkness. My flashlight gets used in my home so not in their pack but will be put in it if need to bug put. Thanks for the advice always appreciate hearing from others. My cmmg is 10mm so mag compatibility would mean me getting a glock 20 or as such. Not saying I haven't thought about it buy yeah. As far as my optic it's just a purchase I made to have an optic at all but no complaints here. Eventually I'll get an ar10 with an acog. But as of right now my current cmmg set up I have no complaints.
