Personally I would swap all those water bottles out with plastic smart water bottles and get a sawyer squeeze water filter over the life straw. Ditch the hatchet for a small folding saw if you’re main use of it will be shelter and fire. These would lighten your load and make your kit more efficient
I'm a hatchet person and perfer it for my style of shelter building. Which I have done before and survived in. The life straw is a last ditch effort though.
I'm gonna give you a huge piece of advice the person that looks the most militaristic and tactical will be the first to die because everybody is going to attack you because you look like you have something on your useful Remember you're not the only one with Guns Switch all those tactical bags out for regular looking bags With a good amount of storage space It's called being a Gray man Your goal is to blend in not stand out
I'm well aware. My situation of survival is a bug in. It's only in bag form for location fast and accurate if needed. Plus it's a bug out to get me to the rest of my family. My green bag I'll be using for hunting and recon so I'll be in the woods so I don't stress it.
Plus to bring up the grey man myth is irrelevant. Anyone with anything on them in anything is a target in a shtf moment. Do you really think they will only target tactical or green bags. No common sense they'll target anyone they see bag or not if they are stealing regardless of appearance. There is no such thing as differential. Grey man bags are only applicable in an everyday concealed environment not end of society and rule of law.
@@danmays6938 thats fine everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Civil debates are a great way to learn. You don't have to agree with me, survival is about doing what is best for you, and what will help you to achieve it by your own measures.
@@jamup8237this isn't the army now lol. This is for a mix of providing food for my family if need be 9mm falls short. While still being able to defend a home.
Eventually I will my situation currently means I'm using an ar in 10mm. I'm looking at getting an ar10 in the near future. But to say I'm not prepared for my needs is wrong. A 10mm is good for hunting and protection alike.
