Like say other comments Heathrow express needs go beyond airport join south west train track to Weybridge other branch to Windsor and Eaton elizabeth line go to terminal 5 siding there need do for same as south west trains price so Heathrow express does lose money?
When I first used Heathrow Express (before opening of Crossrail, now the Elisabeth line) I realized that this project was a quantum leap compared to the tube. 😊 Ultra modern, nonstop experience versus multistop underground.
