Aura Brand Solutions recently had the opportunity to collaborate on a celebratory livery with Heathrow Express. Aura bought the vision to life, applying the brand-new livery to the MOSL carriage of one of Heathrow Express’ twelve Class 387 trains.
After a design meeting between Aura and Heathrow Express to understand the inspiration and requirements for the livery, Aura presented design options. The chosen design was selected for its celebratory impact by Heathrow Express and incorporates Heathrow Express brand colours, featuring the words ‘Celebrating 25 years’, surrounded by confetti.
Aura provided a quick turnaround, completing the installation at GWR’s Reading depot. After stripping the existing livery, Aura carried out prep work before using 3M 180 8993 for the body of the graphics combined with 3M 1850 for the windows. The train was able to re-enter service following installation, transporting passengers between London Paddington and Heathrow Airport.
